Julie Diamond, President, Teachers to Go Inc.
Julie Diamond graduated from OISE in 2009 with the dream, like most graduates, of having her own classroom. While waiting for an interview, she took jobs with local tutoring companies. She noticed the companies hired underqualified tutors and had rigid programs that didn’t account for all learning styles. Implementing the building blocks she learned from her time at OISE, this led her to create her own education company, Teachers to Go, which offers a variety of services including tutoring. After almost four years in operation, Teachers to Go is now in 11 cities, including Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Ottawa and is continuing to expand its services. http://teacherstogoinc.com/

Environmental education is his ultimate passion, and while at OISE he received the David Suzuki Fellowship Award and the Don Galbraith Preservice Teacher of Excellence Award.
