PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN- MID YEAR

Primary Audience: Evaluator

Purpose of Document: This guide outlines the steps for the evaluator completing the Mid-Year PDP. Activities

in green are evaluator steps/ activities in red are teacher/mentor steps.

1. Click on the Staff Evaluations tab.

2. Choose evaluation plan type Professional Development Plan 2018-2019.

3. In the Professional Development Plan Evaluation channel, click on teacher name.

The following containers display the required steps of the Professional Development Plan:

The following status icons can be found throughout the evaluation plan in the system. Keep these in mind

when completing the activities within the containers.

Activity 1: PDP Details Mid-Year Review

Once the teacher has completed the PDP details Mid-Year Review, there will be a green check mark in that activity. Click on PDP Details to view this step. Click Back when done.

Activity 2: Evaluator Signature Mid-Year Review

1. Click PDP Evaluator Signature Mid-Year Review.

2. Review the PDP Details Mid-Year Review.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and Click on New Evaluator Comments.

4. Enter comments in the box and upload any documents using the attach button.

5. Click Save & Exit to return to the container.

6. Once you have reviewed your comments, click the Acknowledge button to sign off.

7. You will then have a green check for the PDP Evaluator Signature Mid-Year Review.

Activity 3: Mentor Signature (N/A for SPII teachers)

Once the Mentor has completed the PDP Mentor Signature steps, there will be a green check mark in that activity. Click on PDP Mentor Signature to view this step. Click Back when done.

Activity 4: PDP Teacher Signature

Once the teacher has completed the PDP Teacher Signature steps, there will be a green check mark in that activity. Click on PDP Teacher Signature to view this step. Click Back when done.

Activity 5: Mid-Year Review Locking Activity 1. Once all sections under PDP Mid-Year Review have green checks you can then lock the activity. Click on Mid-Year Review Locking Activity.

2. Click Lock Activities Drop Box; then Click Lock Activities

3. Click OK to Lock Activity; Click X to close Locking Activity

4. PDP Mid-Year Review will be locked and completed.
