Featured courses: COBIT Foundation (online) – self paced online tutorial
The online course is an excellent
tool to learn the ins and outs of
CobiT and see simulated practical
examples of how CobiT can be
applied in your organization to
drive and deliver better IT value.
It is a must for anybody new to
implementing a framework to
support IT governance or to create

B. Thomas – Cancer Care OntarioThe CobiT Foundation Course not only provided a great review of CobiT and excellent preparation for the Foundation Exam but also gave me the opportunity to drill deeper into those areas of CobiT that were of interest to me but never had the time to explore before.Michael Yeung – HP Canada
The e-learning version of the COBIT Foundation Course (available in English and Japanese) provides a low entry method to learn about the fundamentals of COBIT. Advanced training: implementing IT Governance using COBIT and VAL IT
• A number of candidates to the COBIT Foundation Course require a deeper level of knowledge on COBIT. These are typically professionals who are involved in COBIT implementation projects or advisory roles at various levels. ISACA developed a two-day advanced workshop for these individuals.
• This advanced workshop builds a conceptual roadmap towards implementation of COBIT and provides practical examples and casestudies around that roadmap.
– This ISACA course can be organized for ISACA chapters in a similar fashion as the Foundation course.
– ISACA members receive CPE credits when attending this course
– A possible approach for chapters is a training week; where the Foundation Course is combined with the Implementation Workshop

Next steps: how to move training forward
• Request chapter pricing information to define which pricing is applicable for your chapter and region through [email protected]. An ITpreneurs regional business manager will contact you
• Set a tentative date for organizing a course for your chapter and conduct a presentation for your members to excite them about training. The training course needs to be a minimum of 5 weeks ahead to ensure flawless logistics
• You will receive a Course Operations Guide from ITpreneurs to help you organize the event. This included requirements for the training venue, whiteboard, flip chart, etc.
• ITpreneurs will send the course materials to the training venue or someone within the chapter for the course.
• If required, ITpreneurs books an accredited ISACA instructor to deliver the course and manages the travel and accommodation for the instructor
• Course is conducted and after completion of the course ITpreneurs and chapter will assess the results of the exercise
The Study Guide is one of the components of the COBIT Foundation Course
