WHAT TO EXPECT IN A FLIPPED CLASS

You are responsible for information gathering outside the classroom.

Then, in-class time is re-purposed for inquiry, application, and assessment.

Phases:

1 – Info gathering (watch video lecture, reading homeworks, etc.)

2 – Preliminary assessment (online quiz, in-class MCQs, tweets, practice sheets)

3 – Assimilation of info (problem-based learning, task-based learning, peer instruction, think-pair-share, think-group-share, MCQs)

4 – Homework (for deepening)

WHAT YOU NEED:1) Internet connection (or reliable friends)

3) Colored letter cards (A-red; B-green; C-blue; D-yellow; E-pink)

HOW TO MAKE THE COLORED LETTER CARDS:1) Get five pieces of art paper that correspond to each color code:

A-red

B-green

C-blue

D-yellow

E-pink

2) Have the letters photocopied (I will leave the master copy at Printown (photocopier near Silver Pulp Trading and Hanarose canteen, Grove area).

3) Glue each letters to the corresponding art paper, then attach to any sturdy material (used folders, cardboards, etc).

HOW TO MAKE THE EMOTICON CARDS:1) Print each of the 4 emoticons in separate short bond papers
