The challenge:Intheproductionofwindturbines,theexhaustairofoil-sealedvacuumpumpsis enriched with a fine, stable oil aerosol. An elimination of these pollutants is essential, as these are harmful to health and the environment.

The challenge:During the manufacturing process of brakeliningsdustdevelopsatvariouspointsespeciallywhenmixingthebasematerialsformanufacturingbrakeli-nings when processing the components on the sintering press and grinding the brakelinings.

The challenge:Lubricatingoilsystemsproduceoleagi-noussmokeandoilmist.Aerosolsareahealthhazardandcausedirt,debrisandair/gasmixtures.Aslightnegativepressure in the lubricating oil system and filtering of the oleaginous air are necessary for safe machine operation. Incompactpackages,thespaceforthisimportant filter system is limited.

The challenge:Thickchocolatemassistobecleanedwith a self-cleaning filter system before filling. Previously, this was achieved with an open filtration.

The challenge:Ensuringanuninterruptedcoldchainand creating an overview of the aggre-gatestanklevelsofthecoolingtrailers.

The solution: contec'scoalescencefilterseliminateupto99.99%oftheseaerosolswithalowpressure drop and long service life, sin-ce only solid particles clog the elements slowly. The purified and accumulated oil collected by the filter can be reused andfedbacktothepumps.

The solution: Hoods are installed on the points to be suctioned for dust collection. The exhaustairisbroughttogetherthroughpipelines and is lead to two cartridge filterswithapulse-jetcleaningsystemand vibration system by blowers. Dusts frommixingandprocessingaresepara-ted on the sintering press in filter 1. Grinding dusts are filtered in filter 2.

The solution: ThecompactseriesoftheCOMSoilmistseparators is the ideal filter system, especiallyinlimitedspaces.TheCOMSensuresanadjustable,continuousvacuum and clean, oil-free air in the lubricatingoiltankoftheturbine. Withaseparationefficiencyof99.98%at0.1µdropletsize,theresidualoilcontent is below 0.1 mg/m3.

The solution: After successful trial with an standard wedge wire filter this was modified for special use. The wedge wire filter CSF700-FDwithflangecoverisveryeasy to maintain and can be integra-tedintotheexistingtracingovertheheatingjacket.Anintegratedmagneticseparator after the filter system provi-des ultimate security.

The solution: The capacitive, electronic solid state sensor provides accurate measurement andvisualizationofthelevelviaLEDdisplay directly on the vehicle or telematics on the online portal. The integrated alarm function prevents breakdownsandcargodamage.Theidentificationoftankandwithdrawaltransactions with the reporting function is particularly advantageous.
