Cross-channel controlYou remain in control of these media assets even when they are published on social media channels. SDL Media Manager publishes the player and the content separately. When someone plays a video, the player connects with SDL Media Manager and shows the associated video. This video is actually completely managed in SDL Media Manager.

After you publish a player, you can change the associated video at any time. This puts you in control of your videos even after they are published.

Media analyticsSDL Media Manager tracks and analyzes the use, viral growth and distribution of your media channels. Media Analytics collects and exposes about visitor interaction enabling you to view statistics and click through for detailed analytics.

Media Analytics also exposes analytics data to other SDL products and 3rd party applications using the Analytics OData web service. This lets you view data and perform data analysis using user-friendly tools that accept OData, such as Tableau Public and Excel PowerPivot. Or you can create your own programs that integrate and visualize the data in a 3rd party application.

Global video engagementManaging videos for a global audience can be challenging, especially since videos also should be localized for maximum impact.

SDL Media Manager ends these lengthy and expensive post-production cycles associated with multiple language and voice-oevers. Using Media Manager you can directly localize back slides and add overlays, subtitles and voice-overs. You can quickly and easily optimize localization and translation on the fly.
