I created my project schedule which I feel that I only created because it was one of the tasks, I didn’t really use to it manage my time because I feel that I should use it because I can prove to be very helpful at times.
Saturday9.03.13
I Completed my Mood board and my ideas map which I found extremely helpful for ideas for my robot, I took a lot of inspiration from a lot of the pictures on my mood board and adapting them to the ideas on my mood board.
Wednesday13.03.13
I Finished my Lightbot Extremely late to when it should have been completed but I found this task very useful and I have learned a lot from this tutorial.
Thursday14.03.13
Started my Production log and I started to create my sidekick, I started by putting the scanned images in illustrator and taking the difficult to create objects of the sidekick and drawing them out, I then imported them into Lightwave and modelled them into the shape I wanted. It took me a while to get the hang of using Lightwave without tutorial/guides but I got used to it pretty quickly.

Today while I was creating I had encountered a problem where I had to make pipes for my middle section and I found it very tedious to get Extruded Circles to look likes pipers but I was introduced to the ‘Magic bevel’ Tool which I quote ‘Saved my life’ this tool is the best tool on modeller in my opinion and it saved me an enormous amount of time.
I also Encountered a problem in creating the triangular tracks that I use for wheels, but I was shown to take my sketch into illustrator, create 3 points and then create an equilateral triangle which I then imported into Modeller extruded and I had my wheels, I then added bevelled rectangles to give it more of a track feel.

While putting the finishing touches on my sidekick I had encountered another problem in making the ‘Broken’ arm where I couldn’t make Wire/Caballing very well with just the magic bevel tool, but I would shown that I could create 4 Identical circles, I then extruded them and twisted them to create a more of a wire feeling to the arm, I then magic bevelled the ends to make it look like it has flayed
