Taylor’s Trailers Limited is a family run business. We have been designing and manufacturing high quality trailers, at our premises in West Yorkshire, for over 40 years and have a choice of plant trailers, under the ‘Mr Mobile’ range, catering for the construction industry plus toilet trailers for the event industry.

We manufacture our own original products, with some of our ideas becoming industry standards.

Our products offer versatile and robust solutions to our customers towing requirements. With customers still using the trailers they bought in the 90’s, our products continue to prove their longevity in what is a demanding industry.

The MH plant trailers do not compromise on construction materials and are available as a 3500kg, or 2600kg gross weight unit. The original checkerplate constructed plant trailer, complete with additional longitudinal floor supports and a step-on cycle guard in front of the heavy duty mud guard. Adjustable twin ramp tailgates with built in prop stands and 18mm phenolic coated plywood as standard. The body is fitted with rated anchor points to secure the machine.

Our standard mini excavator trailers offer a versatile product, with a great lifespan. Supplied to customers within the UK and Europe to carry a wide range of excavators and other products from various manufacturers. Longitudinal floor supports for transporting wheel or drum loads. The MS35 comes with individual adjustable ramp tailgates, whereas the MS26 has a full width partial mesh tailgate with gas strut assistance. Both trailers have 18mm phenolic coated plywood.

A new product extending our Mr Mobile range of plant trailers. With ECWVTA type approval the trailer comes with ramps stored at the rear to give a gradual slope for loading motorized machinery, such as dumpers, or using a winch for immobile plant.

A new addition to enhance our Mr Mobile range of approved plant trailers. We provide an easy to use and versatile trailer that is available with, or without a side kit. The trailer tilts from the drawbar to maximise the potential payload. There are plenty of longitudinal floor supports for wheeled or drum machines. Manual hand pump, a drop down loading ramp and a gross weight of 3500kg.

The single drum roller trailer has been in our product range for many years. Using our original spring loaded drum clamps and a front clamp, the machine can be firmly secured in place. A solid trailer to cope with the rigours of the plant market.

The 710mm trailer comes with a drawbar mounted toolbox, as standard and our new universal fit roller trailer (SDR710U) has the lights relocated on the mud guards.

Large flatbed trailers are one of our specialities, which we produce up to 23′ long and 8’2” wide.

All our flatbed trailers run on soft ride rubber torsion axles with an over-run brake system, cast coupling and jockey wheel. They all have a fully welded and galvanized chassis and are available with a number of options.

Developed from our flatbed trailers, our portable toilet trailers are specifically designed for transporting plastic portable toilets easily and safely. The use of low-profile wheels, giving approximately a 650mm bed height, for ease of loading and unloading. The trailers have a bolted-on framework to help locate the plastic toilets on the trailer.

The toilet trailer chassis is offered for you to design and build your own body kit and internal layout on. The chassis are galvanized after welding, with a built-in waste tank providing a strong foundation for the rest of the trailer.

Available in mild steel galvanized units, or stainless-steel units. They can also be supplied with custom built entry steps.

TOILET TRAILER SHELLSIf you have your own design in mind, or you wish to reduce the costs, our range of shells offers a blank canvas for you to bring to life your own ideas.

High quality GRP panels with various core materials, available in various colours and lockable doors giving access to the ladies, gents and the service area. These shells have full European type approval – ECWVTA, so you do not have to consider gaining your own approval.

Modular toilet blocks offer a static system for different applications and are transported by commercial vehicles and lifted into place by either Hiab, or forklift. No need for steps with these units.

Available from 8’ to 20’ at various widths, with lifting points either at the base or roof mounted.

Our toilet pods are suitable for running on mains, or a vacuum system, meaning clear water in the toilet bowl!

Here at Taylor’s Trailers Limited, we can offer HD plasma cutting and CNC press brake folding services in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and galvanised sheet materials.

Samples can be provided, as requested. Capable of cutting up to 4,000mm x 2,000mm sheet.

Components can be manufactured from customers rough sketches, CAD designs (DXF, DWG or MEC files) or samples.

Folding services available, at Taylor’s Trailers Limited, operating our 3m x 135-ton press brake.

Accurate folding of batch items can be achieved, with our range of tooling allowing us to be able to satisfy most requirements.

Taylor’s Trailers Limited are committed to minimising the impact of our activities on the environment. We aim to raise our staff’s awareness of environmental issues and to work at minimising their impact, both at work and outside of work.

Our key aims are:

• Minimise waste by re-using primarily and then re-cycling

• Minimise direct emissions by using efficient machinery and capturing any emissions with air filters

• Minimise emissions and our carbon footprint caused by our activities

Some actions we have, or are, carrying out:

• Replacing our diesel forklift with a gas forklift

• Re-using packaging from goods received on items we are dispatching, or storing

• Use of a re-cycling bin that now takes the bulk of our waste

• Installation of energy efficient LED lighting to cut down our electric consumption

• Only printing out essential documents

• Having good quality equipment that rarely needs replacing – such as hand tools

• Working with suppliers who are as committed to minimising their environmental impact

• Ordering bulk quantities from our suppliers to cut down on the number of deliveries to our premises

We also pride ourselves on manufacturing high quality and robust products that will last a long time (Some of our plant trailers are still being used over 20 years after being manufactured) – this must be better for the environment!
