DescriptionThe Ordering module supports Takeout and Delivery for

mobile and web ordering that is fully integrated with the Micros POS. The solution supports both cash and

credit card payments along with full connectivity to the CRM module for Gift Cards, Offers, and Promotions that

can be applied to orders.

Key FeaturesAppSuite ODS “Order Delivery System” Micros Integrated Part #: 2819981 – The ODS Module features Flow through ordering from app to Kitchen. The system accomplishes this through a seamless integration with your Micros POS where everything from items to modifiers and prices are all connected and synchronized from your published menu to your POS menu. The solution also supports advanced features such as geo delivery zones, time of day menu items, graphic display of items and modifiers, nutritional content, allergy support, eCommerce connectivity for credit cards, web and app ordering, item and order comments, seamless use of POS KDS “Kitchen Display Systems” and printers. Currently available for RES3700 and Simphony 1.

AppSuite ODS “Order Delivery System” Non-Integrated Part #: 2942351- AppSuite also offers a non-integrated ODS solution that has the exact same end user features and function as the integrated solution without the Micros Integration. This solution is best used by restaurants and small chains who are either do not have Micros or are just starting with Takeout and Delivery Services. The solution requires much less costs and labor to setup and maintain the solution. Customers can easily upgrade to the integrated solution if order volume increases.Loyalty Manager app Part #: 2757874– AppSuite has built a multi-purpose iPad app that compliments our integrated ordering allowing for simple and easy access of all orders. The app allows for refunds on credit cards, workflow support on order status, direct consumer messaging via (SMS, email, push messaging), order history, order detail, performance metrics on time to make and pickup notification.

OSS “Order Support System” Part #: 2795483 – The OSS module provides the ability to support phone in orders. The OSS module allows an agent to place an order, choose where the order will be delivered to, and assignment of a driver to deliver the order. The module is available for Micros Simphony 1.x, 2.x, RES3700. Features include account lookup, applying the user to the order, previous addresses, previous orders, select – add – delete - update address info, address validation, pricing for delivery fees by delivery zones, printing address, member, and delivery instructions on the check.

Technical and other ConsiderationsODS Micros licensing – The ODS module requires Micros Transaction Services licenses for each server.Supported versions of Micros POS Integrated Ordering – Currently the ODS is available for Micros RES3700 4.3.x or higher and Micros Simphony 1.6AppSuite Loyalty Manager – The solution is available for Apple iPad and iPhone devices of Apple 9.x IOS or higher.COPS – The AppSuite Star Micronics cloud printers that are supported are Part #’s: 2971583 and 2654268 and 2665871.

COP “Cloud Order Printing Part #’s: 2825463 and 2837145 – The COP moduleallows a restaurant to setup custom printing workflows to compliment theprinting and Kitchen Display System of the POS. AppSuite in partnership withStar Micronics have developed a solution where one or more printers can beconfigured to print selected check, order, and customer information tospecialized printers for things like order packaging, catering, and deliverypartners. The highly reliable low maintenance printers can be either labelprinters or thermal roll printers. When configuring the COP module you candetermine which items and information should print on each COP printermuch like you do in your POS. The solution also provides the ability to havepre-orders print out immediately on certain cloud printers for planning andlogistics and then have the ODS send the order to the kitchen for productionwith the proper lead time when ready.
