ecoMatThe Eco Mats are non-woven and contain at least 90% plant fibre (typically hemp or linseed blended with straw). The mulch product is supplied at 450g/m2, and bonded using a small amount of UV degradable polypropylene. The production process, from planting to manufacture, has a carbon benefit, providing an environmentally friendly alternative to current products. Under normal atmospheric conditions the Eco mats will typically last 2 years. The Eco mats are heat-treated eliminating any pathogens that might be present ensuring that the product is sterile.
