1. Producing solutions

After generating and documenting ideas the next stage is to produce a solution. The key documentation of ‘producing’ is called the criteria of the solution which outline the standards that need to met by the solution.

Software applications (such as VisualBasic and Dreamweaver) are used to produce the solution.

A simple solution is better than a complex one. Complex solutions may be difficult to implement and are prone to ‘software bugs’

Throughout the production phase backups of work must be done on a regular basis

Ask for feedback from the project co-ordinator and your peers. The end product will be more accurate and professional.

In producing the solution documentation is important so that solution criteria are met

Class Task

1. Identify the three main stages of project work. What needs to be done even before the first stage?

2. You want to include a video clip in a presentation you are making to your local sports club. What are the possible ways you can do this and what might some of the problems be? Brainstorm some ideas and draw a concept map of possible solutions.

3. Examine websites such as iTunes, Google, Qantas. Choose one of these and re-contrustuct the page using a presentation application (e.g. PowerPoint, Publisher)
