Powered Vehicle & Equipments 1. PURPOSE Forklift and vehicle operation represents a potential for serious injury. This guideline establishes the minimum standards for the safe operation of powered industrial trucks. 2. SCOPE This procedure establishes requirements: for the safe operation of all vehicles including, forklifts, scissors lifts, and other mobile equipment. Applicable to Tetra Pak site where powered industrial trucks and other vehicular equipment are used. It includes the operation of the following equipment: Forklifts Scissors lifts Contractors Owned Vehicles Tractor/Trailers Man lifts Scrub trucks Other Mobile Equipments 3. RESPONSIBIILITY Safety Coordinator is responsible: to ensure training and education of contractors employees who will operate vehicles or equipment to assure that all vehicle accident reports are processed and submitted to investigate causes of the accident to determine the facts that contributed to the accident to communicate to contractors employees appropriate recommendations to prevent accident recurrence to ensure that checks & inspections are carried out promptly & regularly where required to communicate this policy to employees who will operate powered trucks and vehicles Contractors employees are responsible to inspect the unit to be driven/operated well before use to get relevant induction training prior to equipment operation

2. SCOPE
