PROBLEM STATEMENT

Design of G+3 (3 typical floors for residence and Ground Floor for Parking) RCC residential building for a given area. Participants are required to make the plan and perform the Structural. The various parameters to be considered are:

1. Plan area: 16m X 16m2. Ground floor will be used for Car Parking and Typical Floor will consists of

residential3. Requirements for space utilization at each floor except Ground Floor1. 3 Bedroom (Minimum)2. 1 Hall3. 1 Kitchen4. 2 Bathrooms5. 1 Store Room4. Typical Floor Height 3.2m5. Ground Floor Height 4 m6. Site Location: Delhi7. Subgrade Modulus of Soil: 30kN/m28. Steel Grade for Reinforcement :Fe5009. Masonry Wall Density: 25kN/m3

Except for the guidelines mentioned above, suitable rational assumptions may be made to complete the work. However, all the considerations with valid explanation must be clearly specified in the write-up. Innovation in space utilization will fetch extra points.
