Statement of the Problem

This study aims to discover the effectiveness of the Anti-Mendicancy Law or the

Presidential Decree no. 1563. This study also aims to answer the following questions:

1. What are the views of the Legal Management students regarding mendicants as part of

the society?

2. What percentage of Legal Management students think that the Anti-Mendicancy Law is

effective?

3. What actions have been done to enforce the Anti-Mendicancy Law?

1. What actions have been done by the past and present government to enforce the Anti-

Mendicancy Law?

2. What instances/ cases have you handled that tackled the Anti-Mendicancy Law?

3. What is your perspective on the effectiveness of the Anti-Mendicancy Law?

4. As a lawyer, what do you think is lacking in the Anti-Mendicancy Law?

5. Why is the said law not being strongly implemented today?

6. What are the reasons why Anti-Mendicancy Law is created?
