Easy LED Oy is a leading Finnish manufacturer of led luminaires. The luminaires can be used in various locations both in and outdoors.

Easy LED PRO Wave® luminaires are designed for road, area and street lighting as well as for exercise trails in even the most demanding environments. The modular construction, tough aluminum housing and advanced power management make the luminaire long lasting and energy efficient.

The light distribution is managed with different optics. With suitable optics light can be focused on desired areas or used for wider general lighting.

There is a wide range of mounts and fittings for the luminaires. They are also suitable for retrofitting. There is also a range of wire installed PRO Wire luminaires.

PRO Wave® luminaires are suitable for most common road classes (AL, AE ja K) as well as for area lighting.

Long lifespan and low operating costsThe advanced power management guarantees over 80 000 hours of maintenance free usage life and a low power consumption of 15–240 W depending on the model.

Maintenance free solid constructionThe luminaires are approved by the Finnish Transport Agency and have IP66 protection certificate as well as IK09 impact resistance certified aluminum housing.

Designed and manufactured in Finland The luminaires have been awarded both Design from Finland and Made in Finland Key Flag logos. All the components from led modules to power management system come with five years’ warranty.

Modular PRO Wave® is mor e than the sum of its partsModularity

Because of their modular design the PRO Wave® luminaires are suitable

for every road type as well as for area lighting in different applications.

The power consumption of Easy LED PRO Wave® luminaires varies between 15 W to 240 W depending on the size and configuration.

The luminous flux of the luminaire is 1500–28 000 lumens. Luminaire power level

does not increase during its lifespan.

Controlling systemsThe dimmer using 1–10 V control

voltage is compatible with all systems.DALI control is also available

for the PRO Wave®.

Maintenance free designThe PRO Wave® luminaires are

maintenance free and easy of install. Because of their smooth surface, they are easy to keep clean. The luminares

are IP66 protection rated.

Lifespan, efficiency and reliability

The goal was to produce a LED module that combines best possible longevity

with high efficacy and reliability. To achieve these goals,

Osram Opto Semiconductors Oslon series leds were chosen as the base of the modules. They offer the light color

temperature (CCT normal) of 3 000, 4 000, 5 000 or 6 000 K with multiple

color rendering index. For best possible light efficiency, reliability and lifespan

the led modules use exceptionally low drive current, which also enables low

operating costs.

Modular PRO Wave® is mor e than the sum of its partsSolid and toughThe PRO Wave® luminaires are assembled into a solid aluminum housing. The low copper content (less than 0,1 mass-%) guarantees the corrosion resistance of the housing.

The optics are made of shock resistant polycarbonate with IK09 protection rating. The fixing brackets enables versatile installation to heights between 3 to 30 meters and are able to withstand strong vibrations and harsh environments.

All screws are made of Delta D treated, non-corrosive stainless steel.

The stock color of the luminaires is RAL 9006 white aluminum. Other RAL colors or special coatings are available on request.

The inbuilt relief valve prevents the forming of condensation inside the casing.

Customized driversThe Easy LED driver technology, designed and manufactured in Finland, is the secret of the long lifespan of the PRO Wave® luminaires. The drivers are integrated inside the housing and are optimized for the led modules to provide best possible performance. The advanced power management system for the luminaire is beyond the norm. Combined these components provide efficiency of up to 125 lm/W.

The PRO Wave® system – materials, electronics and thermal management – is designed to exceed 80 000 hours’ maintenance free usage lifespan, even with ambient temperatures of as high as +50°C.

The bright choicePRO Wave® lens optics are tailored for road and area lighting. They are made from UV-stabilized polycarbonate. The amount of lens modules varies according to the needs of the lighted area. The light distribution can be even adjusted with specifically tailored optics.

Easy LED offers a wide range of GS, ENEC and FI certified constant current LED drivers. This enables designing the luminaires for best possible performance without compromising their protection or EMC-requirements.

The tailored drivers enable optimized system level solutions with the highest possible light efficiency and overall reliability. This concerns all models regardless their size as different led driver combinations have been taken into account already in their design.

The drivers are designed to withstand the temperatures inside the housing, even when operating temperatures reach +50°C.

To meet even the most stringent quality requirements, all drivers are tested for correct operation and performance values before being installed inside the luminaires.

Each luminaire is fully tested and inspected after final assembly at Easy LED factory.

Tailored Easy LED drive

Intelligent thermal protection

The intelligent automatic thermal protection of Easy LED luminaires ensures the long life expectancy of the product even if erroneously used in operating temperatures higher than permitted.

This feature is inbuilt in the tailor-made Easy LED constant current LED drivers and operational immediately after power is turned on.

When the operating temperature exceeds +40°C or even +55°C, depending on the model, thermal protection gradually lowers luminaires power level in smooth 20 % steps.

The system returns to full power using advanced hysteresis when the operating temperatures return to rated levels.

The luminaire will never be completely shut down for human safety and maintenance purposes.

Unlimited light controlAll PRO Wave® luminaires from the basic models on are dimmable. And in situations where even more flexibility or exclusive features are required, the Easy LED lumi-naires are still the right choice.

Secure cooling designPassive cooling without fins is the safest method to control the temperatures of a led luminaire. Efficient cooling keeps the PRO Wave® luminaires cool.

Cooling of a device designed to last for several decades cannot rely on moving parts. The surface of the passive cool-ing housing of PRO Wave® luminaires is smooth, making the cooling reliable and cleaning easier as it does not collect dust or grime.

Growing light pollution has become a problem all around the world. The ambient light hides the stars and confuses night insects. PRO Wave® luminaires are designed to distribute maximum amount of light to the ground below – and minimal to the skies above.

Kaamos is an automatic dimmer for PRO Wave® luminaires, which saves money and increases comfort by dimming the streetlights during the quiet hours of the night.

How the Kaamos works Kaamos dims the lights 1h30min before the darkest point of the night by lowering the 1–10 V lines voltage. The dimming is carried out softly in 60 seconds.

The lighting is dimmed for 4h30mins after the darkest point of the night, after which the system ramps softly up to full power. The total time the dimming is in use is 6 hours.

Kaamos can adjust its operation intelligently in exceptional situations like power failures.

Kaamos is suitable in locations where outdoor lighting is required throughout the year, but where less light is needed during the most quiet midnight hours. Such areas include for example parks, courtyards and parking areas and quiet streets. In residential areas Kaamos cuts the amount of disturbing light in nighttime.

Kaamos works independently and maintenance free without separate control units or remote control. The intelligent dimming system follows the seasons. During the summer evenings, when less lighting is needed, the dimming kicks in soon after the streetlights are turned on whereas in the wintertime lighting is on for longer.

Kaamos brightens your finances by dimming your lights

The user still controls the turning on and off of the lights, as Kaamos only dims them.

Kaamos can be installed during assembly or retrofitted. It can also be removed from the luminaire if needed.

The brightest opticsThe Easy LED PRO Wave® luminaires use UV protected impact resistant polycarbonate optics. The light distribution can be adjusted by tailoring the optics to suit the designed use and installation method of the luminaires. Road and area lighting use different optics and even combined optics can be used for special needs. The PRO Wave® luminaires are designed to cast light only downwards, which cuts light pollution significantly.
