Provides sports facilities and services which are funded by the government
who gain money from UK Sport and the Lottery
Can be on a local, regional or national level.
Services are provided for the public and collectively paid for by the
government.
The services provided are not to make a big profit but to provide low cost
sporting facilities to the general public
Examples include leisure and sports centres along with local playing fields

Provides sports facilities and services which are run to make a profit,not by the government, and can be on a local, regional or nationallevel.
Usually have better facilities than the other 2 sectors as they havecontroll over their own money and how they use it
May let vouluntary organisations use their facilities for training
purposes
Examples include gyms and squash/tennis clubs

Provides sports facilities and services which are non-profit making
These are usually run by unpaid helpers or volunteers.
They often use public sector facilities such as playing fields and cangain sponsorship from private sector organisations
They will often rely on subs from members, sponsership andfundraising to cover any costs
Examples include local sports clubs and organizations

Local Private and Voluntary sporting clubs and organisations also use theLCs facilities for the training purposes it provides
The LCs facilities are split up into 3 different sections

2. Core Includes the centres indoor sporting facilities
3. Peak Includes the centres gym and health facilities

Mumbles Rangers Boys Club wasfounded in 1950 by Billy Jones
Billy was confined to a wheel chairall his life but he had a dream to
provide boys with the opportunityto enjoy football which sadly henever had the chance toexperience
In the 1961 New Years Honours
list, he was awarded the BritishEmpire Medal for the selflesseffort he had given to thecommunity in providing a localfootball club where boys couldachieve their potential

1. Boys junior teams from U7s to U17s
2. Girls junior teams from U10s to U16s
3. 3 Mens teams and 1 Veterans team
The coaches that help run the club do
not take any payment for their efforts,
but a small contribution is required for
pitch hire and to keep the club running
