This easy to use aromatherapy chart is designed to help you select from over 100 physical, psychological and psychical conditions. Through combining colour therapy with aromatherapy the connections between your body, mind and spirit become clearer, guiding you to attain greater wellbeing.

By colour-coding corresponding essential oils and afflictions you can begin to consciously use aromatherapy for your daily and chakra energy needs.

Find the attribute or affliction that you wish to address under the different table categories. A list of the optimal essential oils are suggested to help you support or dissolve the situation.

Explanation of CarriersIn aromatherapy, a carrier is a substance used to support or safely transport essential oils and

also provide lubrication for other ingredients. Carriers are commonly used to dilute essential oils before they are applied to the skin. Balm, cream, embrocation, emollient, gel,

liniment, lotion, ointment, poultice, preparation, rub, salve, unguent, oil and water are considered carriers. For hair care shampoo and conditioner act as the carrier.

Following is a list of common carrier oils and their healing properties:

Apricot Kernel: All-purpose oil that absorbs easily, softens and reconditions skin. Suitable for sensitive skin and in facial and beauty treatments.

ArgAn: Hydrates, strengthens and protects brittle hair and nails. Prevents and reduces stretch marks. Alleviates dry and itchy scalp and skin.

AvocAdo: Nourishes mature, dehydrated and sun damaged skin. Helps reduce age spots and soothe eczema, psoriasis and skin ailments.

coconut: Emollient to hair as well as dry, rough and wrinkled skin.

evening primrose: Healing to premature aging, eczema or dry scaly skin, dandruff and bruising. Improves elasticity of the skin.

grApeseed: Commonly used for acne and oily skin. Protects against tissue damage. Contains natural hypoallergenic components.

Holly: Ideal in massage as it is a clear and non-staining.

JoJobA: Excellent for all skin types due to similarities to the human skin cell and pH balance. Softens, protects and moisturizes.

meAdowfoAm seed: Properties include ultra-violet protection, retaining moisture and reducing wrinkles.

roseHip: Beneficial for dry, weathered, dehydrated, scarred, damaged and mature skin. Skin cell regenerator.

sesAme seed: Suitable for all skin types. Soothes skin conditions.

st. JoHn’s wort: Known for its anti-inflammatory and restructuring traits. Effective on burns and bruises.

sweet Almond: Reconditions the skin and is good for all skin types. Relieves itching, soreness, muscular pain and stiffness.

witcH HAzel (Extract): Useful for its astringent, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. Removes make-up.

➋ MELISSA [Melissa officinalis] – Emotionally Supporting, Refreshing

This oil is a strong tonic to the nervous system. Can be helpful for anxiety, panic, vertigo,

depression and nervous tension. Soothing when experiencing grief, shock or bereavement.

Assists in lowering high blood pressure and regulating the menstrual cycle. As an

antispasmodic, helps the respiratory system with asthma, bronchitis and chronic coughs.

Can have a cooling effect on fevers and ease headaches. ❀ B/BP/C/D/I/M/SC. ✿ P/Ph/

SI. Use in moderation.

➏ MYRRH [Commiphora myrrha] – Strength, Stability, Meditative

An ancient spiritual oil used in purification processes that was said to deepen one’s

connection to the universe. Provides a sense of strength, stability and courage. This

oil has a “grounding” effect on the psyche, easing fear. Facilitates meditation. ❀ B/D/

HC/M/SC. Skin Care: Heals plus revitalizes the skin. A nutrient for aging/wrinkled skin.

Perfume: A base note used as a fixative in perfumes. ✿ P/Ph.

➏ MYRTLE [Myrtus communis] – Mild Respiratory Aid, Suitable for Children

A clear, fresh, camphoraceous, sweet-herbaceous scent. Use for children’s respiratory

problems, asthma, bronchitis and coughs because of its mild nature. Known as an

immune booster to combat colds, flus, infections and diseases. Astringent and

anti-bacterial. Helpful in treating acne/oily skin, large pores, hemorrhoids. ❀ D/H/I/M/

SC. Massage: Apply to the chest for respiratory infections.

➋ NEROLI [Citrus aurantium] – Aphrodisiac, Indulges Skin & Senses

This sweet orange scent stabilizes and regenerates the soul. Esteemed by the Egyptians for

its great abilities to heal the body, mind & spirit. Effective remedy for depression, anxiety

and emotional exhaustion. ❀ B/BP/D/H/I/M/SC. Perfume: Known as a sensual and euphoric

oil. Skin Care: Beneficial for all skin types, scar repair, stre

tch marks–as it stimulates new

cell growth. ✿ Can be extremely relaxing to the mind, do not use if you need to be alert.

➑ NIAOULI [Melaleuca quinquenervia] – Immune System Booster

Related to Tea Tree. Stimulates the mind and clear thinking. Said to increase white blood

cells and antibody activity. Helpful in fighting germs, colds and flus. As an expectorant/

decongestant, it aids respiratory conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, ch

est infections

and sinusitis. A beneficial anti-inflammatory for rheumatism. ❀ B/D/I/M. Massage: Use

for a chest rub. First Aid: 5-6 drops in a bowl of cool pre-boiled water to clean minor

wounds, burns and acne.

➋ NUTMEG [Myristica fragrance] – Stimulant to Body & Mind

This familiar smelling oil is a helpful digestive aid in breaking down fats and starchy

food. For a digestive aid, add 1 drop to 5ml of carrier oil and apply to abdomen, rubbing

gently in a clockwise movement. Also has a history of being used to attract money!

❀ D/M. Diffuse: With Clove and Orange for a soothing wintertime scent. ✿ P/SI. May

overexcite nerves. Use in low dosages. Do not use on children.

➋ ORANGE, Bitter/Blood/Sweet [Citrus aurantium/sinensis} – Zesty, Joyful

A happy oil with antidepressant qualities. Helps clean the air, calm the stomach and lower

cholesterol levels. Orange oil has mild aphrodisiac properties and regular use can help

issues of frigidity, impotence and decreased libido. ❀ B/BP/D/H/HC/I/M/SC. Hair Care:

Adds lustre to dull skin. Inhalation: Use a few drops on a pillow for insomnia. Skin Care: Assists

with collagen formation and is wrinkle-lifting. Excellent cleanser and toner. ✿ Ph/SI.

➍ OREGANO [Origanum vulgare] – Pleasant, Friendly, Bright

A relative of marjoram, this oil is a natural infection fighter. Recent studies suggest that it

has antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Useful for relieving children’s coughs,

allergies, hay fever, colds, influenza and indigestion. Soothes menstrual pain. ❀ B/BP/

HC/I/SC. Foot Bath: Helps rid athlete’s foot. ✿ Ph/SI. Has strong sedative qualities.

➒ PALMAROSA [Cymbopogon martini] – Clarifying, Uplifting

An earthy, uplifting fragrance that calms, refreshes and clarifies the mind. Stimulates

the appetite, assisting individuals with eating disorders sin

on the emotions. Also calming for children. ❀ B/BP/D/HC/I/M/SC. Bath: Soothe your

worries away while pampering your dry skin. Skin Care: Activates secretion of the skin’s

natural nourishment (sebum), providing help for dry skin.

➏ PATCHOULI [Pogostemon cablin] – Earthy, Anxiety Releaser

Known as “hippy juice”, this earthy fragrance may be used to balance and ground the

psyche. Sedates in small doses but sharpens the wits and stimulates the mind in high

doses. Relieves water retention. ❀ B/BP/D/HC/I/M/SC. ✿ Use sparingly as this oil’s

strong fragrance can be overpowering and may cause loss of appetite.

➎ PEPPERMINT [Mentha piperita] – Physically & Mentally Refreshing

This cooling, minty fragrance is an effective stimulant, alleviating mental fatigue. Helps to

viruses and fungi. Use as a disinfectant/antiseptic remedy. Helpful for acne, athlete’s

foot, blisters, burns, thrush, dandruff, herpes, insect bites, chest congestion, rashes,

The Client understands that Colour Energy products contains natural ingredients and therefore may vary from batch to batch. Although Colour Energy duplicates each aromatherapy recipe, it is not uncommon that the end product may have a slightly different smell, consistency, visual appearance, etc. (Note: Each new batch of essential oil may have been harvested from different crops, at different times of year, etc.)

mAdditional graphic fees may be applied in cases where more detailed design work is required. The price of filling and labeling is part of our in-house private branding service; however, if the client has their own labels we can also offer this service for a nominal fee (ask for a quote)

The client understands that all natural products should be rotated every 6-12months and stored at room temperature locations. (Note: Sprays and misters should be sold within 6 months of purchase. Many essential oils and blends have shelf lives of 2-3 years or longer. Essential oils or floral waters should never be exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures. Shelf life can be shortened if products are exposed to changes in temperature, humidity, light, etc.)

mColour Energy is not liable for merchandise that expires due to lack of sales or product knowledge, improper storage, overstock, bulk purchases or for reasons mentioned above.

Private Branding Signature Custom Made Products: The fee to make a custom product is $100. Fee will include 2-3 sample variations, depending on the complexity of the recipe, with one revision. Additional revisions can be made for an additional $10, per revision, of the original recipe. Custom blending fees are paid in advance and are not subject to refund for incomplete projects. Working documents of the recipe will be kept on file for 36 months should the project recommence.

m All private label fees are paid at the start of the project and shipping fees will be charged at the time of shipping.

m Minimum order requirements for each Private Brand product is 12 units.

m Pre-authorization of credit card must be approved before label production takes place.

mColour Energy reserves the right to all intellectual property of private brand labels and designs unless the client pays to release the design work that Colour Energy has created. The client agrees that they will not change any content or create their own derivative work from any content.

mThe client understands that Colour Energy creates the client’s private brand from templates and the design or format that the client chooses may be similar to that of another private brand label of another customer excluding the client’s logo or material the client gives to Colour Energy.

mThe client will ensure that the logo they give to Colour Energy for their private branding does not infringe the intellectual property rights of a third party or any applicable laws or regulations. For best result, the client should supply a high resolution, .AI, .EPS or X1A PDF and font.

mIn the event of the client canceling a project after a project has commenced, 50% of the project will be automatically applied to the client’s credit card for services rendered. Working documents will be kept on file for 36 months.

mPrivate brand brochures are only available for our existing recipes and existing names. In email format only. Only the client’s company information and logo will be added to the existing brochures. Changes to our existing brochure templates need to be provided by client.
