AIA Programs & Facilities Overview

AIA Residential Treatment Program Phase 1

Phase 1 program is a minimum of 60 days for adult men. Clients program for 8 hours a day, 6 days a week with

registered and licensed drug and alcohol counselors and therapists specialized in treating co-occurring disorders. This includes group therapy, weekly individual sessions, and family therapy when appropriate.

AIA Residential Treatment Program Phase 2 (Life Skills)

Phase 2 program offers clients the chance to learn and practice life skills such as budgeting and financial

responsibility, time management and career building. Phase 2 clients receive greater freedoms and privileges than Phase 1 clients such as phones, internet and offsite activities. Phase 2 bridges the gap between conventional RTC

and PHP/IOP allowing clients the ability to practice new freedoms without losing the safe and structured support of

a complete inpatient residential program.

AIA Facilities

Our beautiful residential mountain homes combine to accommodate 50 beds including two separate gender-specific medically assisted detox facilities. Meals are designed by our own Chef and prepared daily in our

commercial kitchen. AIA’s 5000 sf private gym houses our health and fitness activities year-round. Our program

facilities include 3 separate program plazas which house our large group and process rooms, counselor and therapist offices, as well as administrative offices. Onsite Equine therapy is provided to all clients and facilitated at

AIA’s private stables (seasonally available). Throughout their stay, our clients reside in comfortable and quality facilities all located within the beauty and spiritual healing of nature.

Our Day Treatment (PHP) program offers intensive programming 8 hours a day with counselors and therapists from 8 am to 4 pm six days a week Monday - Friday. Clients can elect to program additionally on Saturday. This intensive therapeutic model creates a close knit, family-like support system. PHP groups are small, nurturing and supervised. Clients in our PHP program have healthy, delicious catered lunches provided for them and eat family-style. Clients reside in safe, sober living homes that provide structure and guidance with residential counselors on-site at all times for monitoring and reassurance. Our clients have the added benefits of healthy, chef-prepared meals seven nights a week, gym memberships and random drug tests and breathalyzers to ensure accountability.

CFH IOP Treatment Program

Our Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP) is designed for adults struggling with addiction, trauma and mental health issues. Our IOP program meets five days a week. Clients are fully supported to continue work, school, and other professional and personal endeavors to make sober living a reality. All accommodations are made to make the recovery process a part of the client’s everyday routine. Our daytime IOP hours are 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Clients’ daily schedules include group therapeutic sessions, individualized therapy and counseling sessions. Our partnership with sober living houses provide the structure, safety and warmth a client needs on their road to recovery with caring, friendly staff, top-of-the-line amenities and confidential locations.

5 Residential is based upon 5 main principles; to thine own self be true, love without conditions, non-judgment, non-violation, and consciousness. We have grown from an eight bed women’s only program to being able to serve hundreds of both men and women in our homes ranging from Hollywood Hills to Malibu. We provide the structure and care needed to help our clients feel safe and supported through recovery.
