Create Network Printer

Check for the incoming SV request

Raise the CPR

Forward the request to the EDS

Printing team.

Complete the transport.

Check for the roles with the

security team.

Notify the requestor.

arrived in inbox (SO01)

Logon to DT1/300 run the transaction SPAD

Create CPR through the notification

Run the transaction ZCPR, edit the CPR

When the CPR is save then the status

will be O.

Mail the CCOE team to change the status

from OOA and OAA. AI is changed by 1.5Monitoring team.

Once the CPR is in I then mail to EDS

Printing team to configure the printer.

The printing team will create a ticketin the OVSD.

Now wait until the ticket is processed

and you get a mail into EMEA mailbox

with the info about it.

Then open the CPR again for editing and

click the Create Transport button on

the bottom left, which became nowavailable.

Choose the system from which the transport

will be

Now go to the

development system

where the printer

should be created

(by the Printing

team) and look for

it via transactionSPAD.

In SPAD enter the

printer name anddisplay it. (hit

enter, or display

button)

Before adding the printer to the CPR/CTF you can

check within the CPR if the transport has already

some data or not (in this stage as we have not

added there anything, it should not).

Go to the CPR, go above the CTF number and double

Go back to the DEV system and add a printer to my

transport

and hit the truck icon on the screen:

Now I just hit the save

button and press greenarrow to go away from thatprinter maintenance.

And we are finished in theDevelopment system.

Now we can check that wereally have the printerassigned to the request.

So I go back to the CPR andcheck it again as I did before(through the CTF and look

into it).

Now you can see that myCTF has already a printerdefinition within it and itsthe only object there.

If you had more printers tocreate ou can add them all

Go to your CPR. Double click on the CTF you want to

release and then in the top left corner hit the ReleaseTransport button:

Now the CPR is in OU status, Mail CCOE team to changethe CPR to OP and AUT.

1.5 Monitoring group will transport and change the status toRP.

Meanwhile, you can check the role for the printer with thesecurity team.

Check for the printer exists in PC1 or not.

Now mail the user to check whether the printer works fine atthere end.

Once the user sends the confirmation then take steps tochange the status to C.

As all the steps are performed close the notification.
