Café de Rous 2019

Dear Rous Community

We are excited to be organising Café de Rous for the upcoming Bonfire!

Last year was an incredible success and again a huge thanks to both community sponsors and contributing

parents/carers.

This year we will have Nat’s Coffee on board again. He is supplying coffee and accessories, a very generous

donation for our Café.

We are conscious of the need to reduce waste so as part of Café de Rous, so we will be encouraging

customers to bring along their own cup/mug for a discounted price on coffee!

From observing last year’s delicious delights sold we noticed the most popular and easy to sell items were

single serve pieces of cake, slices and biscuits. Cupcakes and muffins are easy to prepare and popular with

the kids. Slices/cakes and biscuits seem to be a preference of the adults with anything lemon, orange and

chocolate selling like “hotcakes”!! Sprinkles and pink icing was also popular!!

To ensure the night runs as smoothly as possible, please attach a list of ingredients to your donations.

Essentially we need to know this for allergy purposes. We will provide a simple ingredient card for you to fill

out and attach to your donations.

For ease of pack up containers will be left for collection in Mr. Johnsons room when the bonfire has

finished. They will be available for pick up during clean up Sunday morning too.

Thank you for your continued support of Café de Rous and we look forward to seeing you all there,

Sally, Naomi and Susann

Bonfire Roster – August 2019

Updated Bonfire Roster All families are expected to fulfil their shift on the roster.

Please let us know if you are unable to do your shift as

rostered and we will try our best to accommodate another

shift but CANNOT GUARANTEE the change.

Please notify Jo Bate as soon as possible should the time you have been allotted not be suitable or if

your name appears more than once.

All parents are rostered on an allotted time for the night. You are expected to fulfil your allocated

time. In order to do this you may need to organise family or friends to look after your children on the

night. Free family passes are available from Jo in the office. Remember this is our only major fundraiser

for the year, and the funds raised go to assist all areas of learning for all of our children.

Every attempt has been made to ensure that parents are not rostered on at the same time unless

requested. Each area is allocated a leader and you are encouraged to contact these people if you have

any questions about your role in that area.
