enriching pre-planning experience. Our LOVE AT FIRST VISIT package accommodates those planning a destination wedding experience

into our resorts, see the locations and feel the vibes, prior to the big day.

All our packages require a non-refundable deposit of USD $200 in order to secure a wedding date within the next 12 months. To secure a

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

CEREMONY TYPES

If a request is made for a specific religious affiliation or for a civil ceremony, this will be confirmed based on the availability ofthe

respective Minister or Judge and, the laws of the destination. Each religious affiliation determines its own fees for services provided

and a Resort administration fee also applies - those costs will be passed onto the couple requesting the service. Therefore, it is

extremely important you re-confirm the type of ceremony you desire, as we must reserve the appropriate officiate for your wedding

ceremony. RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT There is no residency requirement or waiting period for getting married in the Dominican Republic and this applies to all ceremony

styles. However, we do suggest that couples arrive at least 2 days prior to the wedding date.

SYMBOLIC CEREMONY is included in all of our packages and, is the most popular ceremony. It is performed by a non-

denominational marriage officer and is almost the same wording as the civil ceremony but, it is not a legally binding contract. This is

far less complicated than legally binding ceremonies, as you do not have to organize, translate or bring legal documents to the

Dominican Republic and allows you to choose from a variety of ceremonies to ensure that your vows are spoken in your personal

style. If you want to be married legally, this can be done in your home state/country before your stay with us. Note: A copy of the

marriage certificate/license must be brought to the resort and presented to the on-site Coordinator, during the wedding meeting.

USD 400 plus tax, when selecting an a-la-carte event CHRISTIAN BLESSING is conducted by the local Evangelical Pastor in Punta Cana. The Ceremony lasts approximately 20 minutes and

also requires a pre-wedding meeting with the Pastor to ensure you both understand the meaning of a Christian marriage. Please

remember this is not a legally binding contract and paperwork must be completed in your home state/country before your stay with

us and a copy of the marriage license brought with you to your destination. Christian blessing ceremony is performed in Spanish or

English. Note: A copy of the marriage certificate/license must be brought to the resort and presented to the on-site Coordinator,

during the wedding meeting. USD 650 plus tax CATHOLIC WEDDING is performed by the local Catholic Priest and, is a legally binding ceremony. Because this is a religious

ceremony, Catholic weddings must be held under roof, in the Garden or in our inside Hotel Chapel, or a Ballroom covered terrace.

It is the client’s responsibility to complete all necessary pre-wedding paper work and comply with all fees associated with this

process. Please ensure you carefully review and follow through with the instructions provided under separate cover, for the Jesus

Maestro Parish. The Catholic wedding ceremony is performed in Spanish and can be translated by a family member with the

corresponding scripture into English. USD 750 plus tax.

CIVIL WEDDING also known as a legal wedding is a true, legally binding ceremony and is performed by the Justice of the Peace. This

province of the Dominican Republic only has one Justice of the Peace, so securing dates can be difficult and sometimes we

cannot confirm your meeting date/time with the Justice until a week before your wedding date. In addition, because of limited

availability, the Justice of the Peace may not perform the actual ceremony, however, will most definitely review and sign all legal

documents to formalize the marriage. The marriage certificate will be sent by courier to the couple’s last known mailing address, this

can take up to 6 months. The Judge is an outside service provided by the Local Government and Princess Hotels &Resorts will not be

held responsible for any delay or alteration. It is the couple’s responsibility to have all documentation ready no later than 3 months

prior to the wedding date. The civil wedding ceremony is performed in Spanish and can be translated by a member of the

Wedding Specialist team.USD 850 plus tax – includes a USD 250 non-refundable fee For assistance with legal documents, may we suggest you contact: www.wedo.com.do. Please be aware there are fees associated with We Do.

Legal/Civil and Catholic ceremonies cannot be performed on Sundays or major holidays. Renewal of vows can be performed by a non-denominational marriage officer or the local Evangelical Pastor.

with the Pastor to ensure you both understand the meaning of a Christian marriage. Please remember this is not a legally binding

contract and paperwork must be completed in your home state/country before your stay with us and a copy of the marriage

license brought with you to your destination. Christian blessing ceremony is performed in Spanish or English. USD 300 plus tax

MAYAN CEREMONY is a symbolic ceremony led by an authentic Mayan Shaman performed in Mayan dialect (a translator is

provided when meeting the Shaman to understand the spirituality of the wedding and its Mayan symbolism). This ceremony is not

legally binding. The Mayan wedding is considered a link to the cosmos and the Ritual is based in the Maya's connection with the

universe and their gods. The ceremony brings the couple to the four cardinal points and the four elements in a symbolic ritual that

connects the universe in a way to strengthen and bless the couple’s union. The ceremony is performed at the beach and lasts

approximately 45 minutes. If you require a translation this involves an additional fee USD$140 (Includes ceremony and temazcal

service)

CIVIL WEDDING is also known as a legal wedding is a true, legally binding ceremony performed by a local Judge. Please note that

the Judge is an outside service provided by the Local Government and Princess Hotels &Resorts will not be held responsible for any

delay or alteration. It is the couple’s responsibility to have all documentation ready no later than 3 months prior to the wedding

date. All legal marriages that take place in Mexico under Mexican law are completely legal in Mexico and the Wedding Couple

must legalize their marriage in their country/home state by registering their marriage certificate at the local City Hall / Court. The

marriage certificate* {Spanish version} will be sent by courier to the couples mailing address* {this can take up to 3 months}. The civil

wedding ceremony is performed in English or Spanish. For legal/civil weddings, there is a mandatory residency period of 4 business

days {excluding Sunday and Mexican holidays} and this applies to the Wedding Couple and 4 witnesses. USD 1,000 plus tax – includes a USD 250 non-refundable fee REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR THE WEDDING COUPLE-LEGAL CEREMONY:

Valid passports are required for all US and Canadian citizens for entry into Mexico and they are mandatory for a legal wedding to be performed. Passports must be presented to the onsite Wedding Manager at the time of the wedding consultation.

Tourist Cards are provided to all persons on the plane prior to arrival into Cancun’s International Airport. Names on Tourist card and Passport MUST be the same.

Blood test to determine blood type, HIV and STD. Tests can be taken at the resort and results are ready within 48 hours. The cost for the blood test is included in the legal ceremony fee and includes a health certificate required for the legal ceremony to be performed.

If the Bride is divorced (must be for one (1) year before remarrying) and her passport is under her maiden name, no additional documentation is needed. If the Bride’s passport is under her ex-husband’s last name, then she must have her birth and divorce certificate translated in to Spanish by an official translator and Apostille Seal. This is required for a legal ceremony to be performed. The Apostille Seal is necessary when issuing a document from one country to another for legal purposes.

If a bride and/or groom’s former spouse is deceased, additional information IS NOT REQUIRED




CONT. MEXICO:

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR THE WITNESSES -LEGAL CEREMONY: Legal ceremonies (only) require the Wedding Couple to have 4 witnesses *. Witnesses must be at least 18 years of age at the

time of the ceremony. If the couple provides their own witnesses, each witness must adhere to the residency period of 4

business days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and Mexican holidays) and, the following information is needed:

A completed Civil Ceremony Form indicating witnesses’ names, age, nationality, home address and occupation Valid passport, to be presented to the onsite wedding specialist at the time of the wedding consultation. Tourist Card, which are provided to all persons on the plane prior to arrival into Cancun’s International Airport. Names on

Tourist. Card and Passport MUST be the same.

* PLEASE NOTE: Witnesses can be provided by the resort if the Wedding Couple choose, at an additional charge of $20 per witness, to be

paid in cash at the resort during the wedding meeting with the Wedding Specialist

The marriage certificate will be issued in Spanish – the cost of translation is not included in the legal ceremony fee. The resort

can arrange to have the certificate translated to English at an additional cost of $150 plus tax.

Additional cost paid in cash will apply to have the blood test and the certificate mailed to countries outside of Mexico.

Civil ceremonies cannot be performed on major holidays or Sunday. Renewal of vows can be performed by a non-denominational

marriage officer or the local Evangelical Pastor.

TO CONFIRM A WEDDING DATE/TIME: • A non-refundable deposit of USD 200 is required to secure a wedding date within the next 12 months.

• To secure a wedding date beyond 12 months, a non-refundable deposit of USD 400 will be required.

• Package pricing and inclusions are non-negotiable and discounts/concessions will not be granted. The same applies for any wedding related items, upgrades & services.

• Each wedding package is based on a pre-set number of in-house guests, including the Wedding Couple. • A surcharge applies for each additional guest, above the number of persons included in the package that will be attending your

wedding. • All package pricing is inclusive of tax & service and quoted/payable in USD. Additional items/services added to the package, as

well as a-la-carte weddings, are subject to tax & service.

CEREMONIES:

• A symbolic ceremony is included in all of our wedding packages and it is not legally binding. • Civil & Religious wedding ceremonies can be arranged, at an additional fee $* as per information corresponding on each type of

EVENT LOCATIONS: • Each wedding package includes private locations and all locations are subject to availability, maximum occupancy

and certain restrictions may apply. • For ROYALTY–choice of 1 private locations {for the ceremony and for the cocktail. Next to each other. • For MAGICAL, PRINCESS, INFINITY. –Choice of 1 private location: 1 for the ceremony and 1 for the Cocktail/reception with additional cost. For a-la-carte weddings–a location fee for ceremony and/or cocktail/reception will apply a fee. • In addition, we offer premium locations, which couples can upgrade to, at an additional fee. our onsite wedding specialist. • Outdoor locations require lighting and lighting is not included in any packages. Once your wedding is confirmed, we will provide

you the planning process details also the best available options and pricing for décor, items and service that you can add to your event with and additional cost.

• Some locations require a dance floor. Once your wedding is confirmed, our wedding specialist can provide pricing. EVENT TIMING • All events included in your package choice ceremony- cocktail- reception available to add with and additional cost $* must run

concurrent from one event to the other and punctuality is important. • For the ceremony, we allow 1 hour and although the ceremony may not last the full hour, the remaining time can be used for

pictures with loved ones. For the cocktail, we include 1 hour and for the reception, we include 3 hours. This timing is standard for all

wedding packages. Note: wedding reception and cocktail hour have additional fee$* to add it on your agenda. • All events taking place in a public area must end by 11pm, due to the Resort’s policy with noise restriction. We do offer select

locations that can host events past 11pm, subject to availability and an additional fee (per person/per hour/per location) will apply. Based on the wedding destination, for Mexico deadline ask to your onsite wedding Specialist.

• In the event of rain/inclement weather forecast, back-up locations will be made available for every wedding, every event. This will

be further discussed upon arrival at the Resort, with the on-site wedding specialist.

OFF SITE GUESTS AND EVENT PASSES • For the Princess Resorts in Dominican Republic: 60% of the wedding group must stay at the same hotel where the wedding is taking

place.

• For the Princess Resort in Mexico: 80% of the wedding group must stay at the same hotel where the wedding is taking place. • An additional fee applies for each non-hotel guest that will be attending your wedding and/or private events. Fee and conditions

vary, based on the resort. • Outside Vendor Penalty fee US$1000, to be waived the vendor need to be at least 4-night stay on property. For Mexico ask to your

onsite Wedding Specialist.
