Dear Fellow Employees,

This time every year, we offer employees the opportunity to donate to their favorite charities through the payroll process. We are an organization of people who are committed to helping others, and the annual giving campaign is a great way to do that. I am always heartened by the generosity and compassion of our employees. Last year, we not only met our goal, but once again exceeded it!

This year the Prince William County giving campaign sign-up will run Monday, October 6 through Friday, October 31. For those of you who participated last year, the charities that you contributed to should be on this year’s list. If you wish to give to a charity that is not on the list, any 501(c)3 tax-exempt charities may be added simply by clicking on the “Write in your favorite charity” link on the giving website. I recognize that many of you already give to charities here in the community and elsewhere, and that is fantastic. The reason we put such an emphasis on this campaign is that it is an easy way to donate money through payroll deduction, and many of the charities our employees give to through this campaign directly serve the residents of Prince William County.

Last year our goal was to raise $125,000; and I was overwhelmed with your response when we actually raised $127,460. Our goal this year is once again $125,000. As always, it is an ambitious goal, but one I know we can achieve together.
