Success is the sum of small efforts made day in and day out.
Dear Parents,
Summer Vacation is relay of reverie and relaxation.a golden period to
indulge in fun, frolic, getting up late in the morning, playing for longer hours
with friends, going for picnics, exploring new places and watching fun filled
shows on television.
Here is an effort to cater my dear ones with some more, and make this time
useful and more interesting. Along with doing all that your heart desires,
Here is a Summer vacation Activity Treasure Box just for my lovelies..
It will surely help them to get in pace ,for a better and successful
forthcoming year with lots of enjoyment. So get ready for a treasure hunt.
Here are a few tips to be shared with you
Knowledge is Power Therefore encourage your child to cultivate the habit
of picture reading. For this you may buy some picture explained story-books
and read them to your child.. This will increase their knowledge, develop the
vocabulary, and improve their expression.
A healthy mind lives in a healthy body so encourage the child to go out
and play because sports instill discipline, generate sporting spirits and
channelize energies constructively. Try to share at least two meals in a day
with your child.
Communication skills play a pivotal role in grooming the overall
personality of the children. Converse with your child preferably in English to
help him / her get comfortable with the language.
Quality time is childs treasure for life Talk about childs day every day in
the evening.Narrate bed time stories and ask a few interesting questions on
them too. You can also share stories from your childhood.Utilise this time as
the opportunity to come on one platform with them and have fun.
Look into the eyes of your dear one and thank God for the wonderful gift.
As parents, invest your time with them ,now

KITCHEN FUN
1. PRINCIAN CHEF- Beat the heat by making summer
drinks like, lemonade, lassi, fruit smoothies with your
child.
2. DEVELOP MOTOR SKILLS- Let your child indulge in
activities like mashing potatoes, clay moulding,
shelling out peas etc. These activities will help in
developing their motor skills.
3. KITCHEN GAMES- Keep your pre-primers busy while you
work in the kitchen by playing games such as
guessing games, sensory games, colour games, shapes
games, etc. You can
Ask your child to close the eyes and guess what
you are cooking by relating to the fragrance of
the food being cooked OR you can even hand
over an ingredient- like cinnamon, cardamom,
orange, etc. and ask to smell and guess its name.
You can also ask the child to close the eyes and
guess what you are doing listening to the sounds
in the kitchen .like keeping the utensils ;chopping
the vegetables ;filling the water-bottles, etc..

DEAR PARENTS,
I have planned a calendar of fun activities for four
weeks. Kindly guide the child to do these fun activities
through the summer. These are just suggestive activities
and not mandatory. The idea is to enhance childs
awareness of their surroundings and life skills.
1. Take a print out of the detailed thematic activities
along with the fun sheets.
2.Encourage the child to do these activities
independently as much as possible.
3.The child may add his/her own creativity to
make the fun sheets more interesting !!
4.Put the fun sheets in a beautiful folder with childs
name on it.
5. Kindly follow the instructions below to complete
the fun- filled summer assignment.
Hope you will enjoy doing the activities together and
have great holidays!!
