Jake Harry / BACHELOR OF CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS (HONOURS)

Jake excelled in his studies from the very beginning. He travelled to Americawith two classmates for an international design andconstruct competition in Dallas where they wereawarded first prize for their construction proposal.

Sophie-Min Thomson / BACHELOR OF GEOSPATIAL SCIENCE

During her studies, Sophie-Min developed a strong interest in GeographicInformation Systems (GIS)and ecology. She now worksas an undergraduate research assistant at the CSIRO in environmentalservices, and her experience at university made for an easy transition into the workplace.

“I had plenty of opportunities to connect with peoplewithin industry and made some really good networks. I also joined the Surveyorsand Spatial Science YoungProfessionals Committee,which I have found to bea great source of practicalexperience.”
