Middlethorpe Hall and Spa York, North Yorkshire
Middlethorpe Hall is a William III Country house, close to the historic city of
York and set in 20 acres of gardens. After a period of neglect, it was restored
in the 1980’s with carefully chosen antiques and fine pictures and in 2008,
it was donated to the National Trust, with all profits benefiting the charity.
The individually decorated bedrooms, are located in the house and in the
adjoining courtyard. The panelled dining rooms overlooking the gardens and the
imaginative food follow the theme of traditional excellence. Middlethorpe Spa
contains a swimming pool, spa bath, steam room, sauna, gymnasium and
