Since completing this task we have moved to a different production company where we will be doing a different film.

We have given ourselves one week to film the whole of our short film which is why all the things we have hired have been hired for seven days.

We have estimated that making our short film will take seven days so the camera we have chosen to use is a steady cam and have used £700 out of our budget for seven days.

Used for seven days, £30 x 7 = £210

For the editing I have estimated that 6 hours will be needed after making the film, to put it all together. £60 x 6 = £360

For students to buy the Adobe master Collection CS5 for ourselves it would be £399 and we could do both the editing and sound mix ourselves.

For locations we will be borrowing somebody’s car and will not have to pay for the locations we will be using, so we will not need any permits which will there for make us able to save money for that.

For our props we will need balloons, party food, a cake, a chair and a mattress. There are no specific outfits just normal clothes for all the cast, so we will only need to use a little of the budget for this one which will be £30.

For sound I have chosen to use the microphones above they are £135 each and as their will only be two characters we will need to use two of these which will be £270

For our cast we will be using friends and people we know so will there for save money as we won’t have to pay anything.

There are only two characters so our costumes come to £118.

We will be hiring a photographer for one full day which is eight hours for £270 this is to get still images of the filming.
