Its purpose is to anticipate risk-producing hazards before they materialize and incorporate risk-reducing solutions into the initial planning for a project. A thorough PtD process provides a safer and more productive work environment. PtD can be applied to any planned change in your operations -- from large complex projects, such as the construction of new buildings, to small projects, such as installing a new floor surface in a food service area. This seminar will provide an overview of a comprehensive PtD process to integrate proven cost-effective controls into the design process for new buildings and operations. The training will present methods for conducting risk assessments and developing design expectations to reduce risk. Case studies of successful PtD projects from construction, service, manufacturing and retail operations will be shared.
