KIDS at FBNO
Preteen MinistryThe preteen years are a unique time in the life of a young person and FBNO wants to help preteens make the most of these years! The Preteen Ministry presents opportunities geared toward helping preteens transform the way they live, play, and work!
Wednesday Evenings6:00- Preteens gather together for Bible study relevant to preteen life issues.
6:50- Preteens may participate in Childrens’ Choir or Bible Skills.
Other ActivitiesPreteen Mission Trip - Preteens work and play together on this week-long mission trip that jumpstarts the summer calendar!
VBX - Vacation Bible School in a setting geared specifically toward 5th & 6th graders.
Service Projects - Preteens engage in various service projects throughout the year.

All FBNO volunteers and staff are required to obtain FBNO’s Ministry
Safe certification to work with minors in any capacity. Certification includes child sexual abuse awareness safety training, criminal background check, and agreement to comply with written policies regarding children and youth ministries. Certifications are renewed every three years.
FoundationsParent/Child Dedication Parents make a public commitment during corporate worship to raise their children in a manner consistent with the teachings of scripture. The church likewise commits to provide resources, guidance, and support to parents.
Building Blocks of Faith Parents participating in the Parent/Child Dedication service are asked to participate in this mini parenting class which focuses on the spiritual responsibilities of parents.
New Believers Class This class, offered periodically throughout the year, is designed specifically for children who have recently made a profession of faith. Children learn fundamentals of the Christian faith, how to write out and share their own testimony, and ways they can continue to grow in their faith.
Nursing RoomA room in the preschool area designed specifically for nursing moms is available during all scheduled activities.

PreschoolPreschoolers age three years through Kindergarten rotate to missions, music, and recreation.
Grades 1-46:00-6:50Kids rotate between recreation and missions.
6:50-7:30Kids choose to participate in Children’s Choir or Bible Skills
Grades 5-66:00-6:50Preteens participate in missions and Bible Study.
6:50-7:30Preteens choose to participate in Children’s Choir or Bible Skills.

Weekly ScheduleSunday Mornings8:15 & 11:00 | Bible StudyEngaging Bible study leaders are eager to make the Bible come alive to kids of all ages (infants through preteens)! Younger preschool classes meet on the first floor while kindergarten through sixth grade meet on the second floor of the Education Building.
9:30 | Worship Care & Preschool WorshipWorship Care is provided for infants through three years of age. Preschool Worship, a worship experience for kids four years of age through kindergarten, utilizes a video-driven Bible lesson, fun music, and interactive games.
9:30 | Kids’ WorshipThe Gospel Project curriculum offers a chronological study of the Bible that incorporates video, interactive music, and learning activities kids can grasp.
Kids sit with their parents in corporate worship until they are dismissed to Kids’ Worship. Parents pick up their kids in Room 103 at the conclusion to Kids’ Worship and check them in on the second floor of the Education Building for Bible study.
