International World Forest Day

Quetta Serena Hotel celebrated International World Forest Day on 21st March, 2018 under the umbrella of SEED (Serena Educational & Environmental Development) Program with theme “forest & sustainable cities’’. Hotel Management and associates held a tree plantation drive at the complex for special education in Balochistan and planted fruit, pine & olive trees with special children at the school.

Hotel also gave awareness secession to the children’s on the importance of the tree planation and how trees are beneficial for living creatures. The purpose of the campaign is to give a healthy environment to the children and to make them feel that they have equal rights within the society.

On the occasion, Ms. Musarat Jabeen Durrani Director General of social welfare, special education & human rights Department Balochistan said, I am honored to be present here. The Quetta Serena Hotel associates takes care of this area and pledged to make environment beautiful & green for the special children’s. Social Welfare is very thankful to Serena Hotels for providing saplings to our school and making this event successful. We hope to receive continuous support from them even in future.

World Water Day Quetta Serena Hotel celebrated World Water Day on 22nd March, 2018 under the umbrella of SEED (Serena Educational & Environmental Development) Program with theme ‘Nature for water’.

On the occasion, hotel arranged special awareness secession on the Importance of water and on its conservation for the school children of leaders' Odyssey. Hotel management went to the school and involved students in the activities related to the importance of water.

On the occasion, Ms. Nelofer Jamil Founder President of environmental Club for Sadar Bahadur Khan University Quetta said, World Water Day is a great time to be conscious of how much water we use every day, and how fortunate we are to have it at our disposal, and in turn be conscious of how access to clean and safe drinking water positively affects our lives, our economies, and our societies. Water is an essential component of all living things, we need to safe water to make environmental sustainable for us and for the future generation.

Quetta Serena Hotel, 8 April, 2018

Spring FestivalThe Quetta Serena on Sunday hosted the Spring Festival with an aim to bring together members of the diplomatic, dignitaries, governments, business communities and friends of Serena all gathered in the lush green lawns of the beautiful hotel to celebrate the arrival of the spring season.

The delicious food produced at the live cooking stations showcased cuisines from all restaurants, while various activities were arranged to keep young children entertained, making the festival truly a family day out under pristine blue skies.

The variety of food ranged from south eastern cuisine, continental foods, Middle Eastern and Pakistani delicacies. The most frequented counters, however, featured barbecue lamb and chicken, ‘sajji’, ‘chaat’, ‘dahi barray’, and Sindhi ‘biryani’ served. There was special kids’ corner where children enjoyed face painting and took photographs with the Disney characters mingling with the guests.

To make event more entertaining for the prestigious guests, Stalls were also of handicrafts, Bone jewelry, paintings & stones. There was a cultural walk by students of different schools which shows Balochi, Sindhi, Punjabi, KPK & Gilgit-Baltistan culture.

Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mian Saqib Nisar also graces the Spring Festival with his presence.
