Summary of Outreach Efforts Performed at Various Events

3-16-2016 NH F&G New Hampshire Water and Watershed Conference, Plymouth State University NH F& G presentation on the Warner Watershed Conservation Project and the Warner River Nomination. 4-28-2016 NH Rivers Council presentation Why Do River’s Do What They Do? Dr. John Field, fluvial geomorphologist, introduced river morphology concepts at the Main Street Bookends in Warner, NH. The Warner River Nomination was introduced and The Warner River Nomination Project brochures, containing an insert advertising the nomination were handed out. (attached) 5-12-2016 Henniker Rotary Club Meeting Speaker, Paul Doscher, TU National, gave a presentation on wild brook trout and their habitat requirements. Basil Woods TU member, Chris Connors, attended the event and handed out The Warner River Nomination Project brochures, containing an insert advertising the Warner River nomination were handed out. 5-14-2016 Spring into Warner An annual Warner event where Basil Woods TU and NH Fish & Game did outreach for the Warner River Watershed Conservation Project and the Warner River Nomination (outside display booth); The Warner River Nomination Project brochures, containing an insert advertising the nomination were handed out. 6-10-12 TU Northeast Regional Meeting (Mt. Sunapee State Park) Basil Woods TU had a booth display that summarized some of the activities of the chapter including the Warner River Watershed Conservation Project and the Warner River Nomination. 6-16-2016 Town of Sutton Presentation - A presentation by Basil Wood TU and NH Fish & Game that discussed the Watershed Conservation Project while also promoting the Warner River Nomination. 8-13-2016 The Warner Farmers Market (downtown Warner outside display booth). Basil Woods TU and NH Fish & Game did outreach for the Warner River Watershed Conservation Project and the Warner River Nomination (outside display booth); The Warner River Nomination Project brochures, containing an insert advertising the nomination were handed out. 9-1 thru 4-2016 Hopkinton Fair Basil Woods TU volunteers had a booth display in the NH Fish & Game building on the fairgrounds for four days. Basil Woods TU and NH Fish & Game did outreach for the Warner River Watershed Conservation Project and the Warner River Nomination (outside display booth); The Warner River Nomination Project brochures, containing an insert advertising the nomination were handed out. 10-1-2016 SPNHF Hike of the PK Brown Parcel, No. Sutton, NH Basil Woods TU and NH F&G spoke about wild brook trout, the Warner River Conservation Project and the Warner River Nomination before a hike encouraging support for the protection of a parcel of land in the headwaters of a stream with a documented high density population of wild brook trout

10-8 thru 9-2016 Warner Fall Foliage Festival Basil Woods TU volunteers & NH F&G maintained a display in front of the MainStreet Bookends for two days, and did outreach for the Warner River Watershed Conservation Project and the Warner River Nomination. Warner River Nomination Project brochures, containing an insert advertising the nomination were handed out. 11-14-2016 Warner Men’s Club presentation on the Warner Watershed Conservation Project Basil Woods TU and NH F&G provided an overview presentation of the work we have done in the watershed for the past five years. Included mention of the Warner River Nomination. 3-20-2017 Warner River Nomination Committee Presentation to RMAC, NH DES, Concord Sam Durfee gave a presentation of the Nomination for the RMAC with several Warner River Nomination Committee members present. 3-20-2017 Warner River Watershed Conservation Project Update, Bradford Basil Woods TU volunteers & NH F&G provided an update on the Warner River Watershed Conservation Project and the Warner River Nomination. Warner Conservation Project brochures, containing an insert update to the status of the nomination were handed out. 3-21-2017 Warner River Watershed Conservation Project Update, Newbury Basil Woods TU volunteers & NH F&G provided an update on the Warner River Watershed Conservation Project and the Warner River Nomination. Warner Conservation Project brochures, containing two inserts to introduce and provide an update on the status of the nomination were handed out. 3-24-2017 NH Water & Watershed Conference Sam Durfee, CNHRPC gave a presentation on the Warner River Nomination. The talk gave a background on the RMPP, the nomination process and the work the Warner River Nomination Committee has done. 3-31-2017 NH Rivers Council’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival Basil Woods TU volunteers & NH F&G provided an update on the Warner River Watershed Conservation Project and the Warner River Nomination. Warner Conservation Project brochures, containing two inserts to introduce and provide an update on the status of the nomination were handed out. 4-8-2017 Saving Special Places Conference, Alton, NH Basil Woods TU volunteers & NH F&G gave a presentation on the Warner River Watershed Conservation Project and mentioned the Warner River Nomination. Warner Conservation Project brochures, containing two inserts to introduce and provide an update on the status of the project and nomination were handed out. 4-12-2017 Warner River Watershed Conservation Project Update, Sutton Basil Woods TU volunteers & NH F&G provided an update on the Warner River Watershed Conservation Project and the Warner River Nomination.
