The Heat Between EL’ Fury’s Food Truck and The Berrics will Provide Several Homeless to Seek Happiness
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, November 11, 2014 - The Berrics X Games Event composed of heat and heavy competitors, challenging the long sweaty days; EL Furniture Warehouse offers to maintain the berrics streets by catering food trucks for the surviving crave of thirst and hunger amongst fellow skateboarders and street members. In result, we are providing exceptional value to our competitors who are competing for the same high standards as our kitchen, it will be constructed to donate majority of profit to local homeless shelters, upon the committed streets.
On November 29 2014, there will be the chance for an exchange of effort at the Berrics X Games, where EL Furniture Warehouse will provide fresh casual cut food at the Berrics California Skate Park in a food truck stand, to those upon request of the donation food trade to the homeless shelters that will be cooked and delivered on Sunday’s.
“ Well surely the portions must be tiny!” you protest. Happily, no! Each item is essentially a standard restaurant portion – and tasty, to boot! I ordered 5 items from the menu (mistakenly expecting tiny portions), got a mojito and a signature Jerry Sour respectively, and our total bill came to $45 with tax. And we were utterly stuffed.’’ As a wonderful bonus, not only is every meal anytime just $4.95 for a shocking size of a meal plate served on a skateboard but we feature refreshing free beverages to those who donate a meal for our homeless, with our special between your choice of a cold Beer or Red Bull which will overly mask the long sweaty training days. In addition, EL Fury’s will be handing out there latest free board stickers, which will get some recognition and speed.
This fun layback atmosphere was originally found in BC Whistler, featuring the modernized “hesh” style that stemmed from professional skateboarders, now known as “hipsters”. This expanding chain has become delightful to all, due to the well-hearted teamwork of ex-skateboarders, snowboarders, and surfers.

Backgrounder:
El Furniture Warehouse was first established in Whistler BC expanding its way
across Vancouver, Quebec City, and Montreal. Also, recently opened this operation
in the heart of the Annex, on July 1st conveying the same warehouse concept of being
big in the action of sports, by constantly on screen and involving professional
athletes to have part-ownership of a percentage of the restaurants. For example, the
ownership group of the Toronto location includes Mark McMorris, professional
snowboarder and Olympic bronze medalist, along with his brother Craig. This
company has advanced in the bar and grill market since 2002, generating fast
friendly service in a style that sooths the party atmosphere. Each location is no
different, same family between restaurants with little change to the menu’s, El
Furniture Warehouse has given itself the name of a hopping spot day and night for
those exploring a cheap lunch option in a pub environment.
This growing chain has become a fun experience for all, due to the well-hearted
teamwork of ex-skateboarders, snowboarders, surfers and mountain bikers. The El
Furniture Warehouse provides an outpost of this Canada wide purveyor of cheap
eats, where every item on the menu is priced at $4.95, satisfying the true feel of
comfort and respect that young individuals thrive for, unfortunately though drinks
aren’t covered by this rule. The environment speaks a skater-casual, emphasizing
the urban décor of varnished wood, neon lighting, and pasted skateboards. They
cater to those of the partying lifestyle, with expected budgets.
The high traffic aroma feeds from the attentive and happy tailored dishes presented
by a delightful group of staff, as well as it being the first restaurant seen to have a
shoe company sponsorship by “Vans”. Indulging further in the season of summer,
they offer a front porch patio to enjoy a cold lager while noshing the famous work
burgers. Sean Young, the new owner of the Annex location, says “ It’s just a really
fun environment, the music is great, all rock, punk and hip-hop, and all the items on
the menu are $4.95- pastas, burgers, quesadillas, deserts, everything is $4.95!”
However, Young states that in addition to having dirt-cheap meals with the proper
portions, members of EL Furniture Warehouse also have an option of purchasing
meals for the less fortunate. Every week around Sunday evening, the staff packs up a
box of meals for the local food shelters and banks, emphasizing their mission of
commitment by providing exceptional value to guests while maintaining a high
standard from quality ingredients, locally and organic sourced where possible, to
create fresh causal fair. Late November, the Berrics X games event is in use for
competition between talented skaters across the country. Therefore, EL Furniture
Warehouse has offered to cater their food trucks for the surviving crave of thirst and
hunger amongst fellow competitors and street members, as a result of generating
donations to help local food banks and shelters.
EL Furniture Warehouse is not only about giving the right size plate for the budget
you desire, they put effort into knowing there customers and creating relationships
with feedback of the do’s and don’ts by catering at events, plastering advertising
posters for interest via social media, as well as providing a fun laid back atmosphere
at the restaurant locations.
Fact Sheet:
Recently, EL Furniture Warehouse has opened up a new location that’s positioned
along the core streets of Spadina and Bathurst downtown Toronto. This warehouse
has great nutritious food for all, whether its brunch, lunch, or dinner, the chefs are
always welcoming new offers. In addition, this company is still fairly new and is
determined to seek more of their demographics as well as preaching their brand
name.
Therefore, on November 29, 2014, at the Upland California skate park called the
“Berrics” designed exclusively for professionals such as Steve Berra, Eric Koston,
Paul Rodriguez, and Jonny Giger; all pro-skateboarders that have defeated the top
50 “s.k.a.t.e”contests and the battle of the Berrics can practice here on the regular.
(No public). The Berrics is a blend of skateboarding and art into one cohesive space,
from the skatable features to the size of the space; this park is significantly the
largest so far. However, as confirmed and signed by Steve Berra the creator/owner
of this skate park, EL Furniture Warehouse Bar & Grill has rented a spot at the
Berrics X games competition happening this November in the heart of California,
Los Angeles, sponsoring Red Bull and Vans as well as they’ll be handing out EL
Fury’s latest board stickers, they have agreed in catering their food trucks for the
surviving crave of thirst and hunger amongst fellow competitors and street
members, as a result of generating donations to help package meals for the local
food banks and shelters. The food truck menu will include a variety of meals and
refreshers starting with beer battered onion rings, Union Street noodle salad, pulled
chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, tacos, and wings all for just 5 dollars top! Also,
they will be featuring your on-to-go cocktails, bottles, and drafts. This way, it can
spread through the use of word of mouth due to the amazing prices and portions as
well as for their unique styles like catering on skateboards instead of trays. As an
appreciation bonus, we will ask all customers to donate by purchasing a meal that
will be saved fresh, packaged, and shipped to local food shelters on Sunday.

one thing, there is no change to the menu except for a few different specials,
which is offered via different locations or between different months.
Where is the nutritional information for your menu? Our online menus
have a brief description of what goes into each plate. However, in store the
menus will go more in-depth for further allergy or vegan concerns. All

Do you have birthday specials or provide any complimentary items for
guests celebrating their birthdays? Of course celebrations are always
welcomed! There are premium dive bar classics here, such as the ski-shots,

guests celebrating.
Do you take reservations? Unfortunately, we don’t take reservations. It has
always been first come first serve, due to the busy atmosphere of crowds.

with more locations, as well as continue with charity events and promotions
to encourage and engage more with the community around us. Example
“2003- Coat Drive”

in the downtown atmosphere, due to having to squeeze a spot on the side of
the street or in the back we have a few available.

“Great value and lots of buzz” (Rated 4 Stars) Reviewed 20 November 2014.W
This is the place to go and come out with a reasonably priced bill. All items are $4.95
and have been like this for quite some time....I hope they keep it up. The food isn't 5 star
but it is good and tasty, the decor isn't 5 star but it is always lively and the service for the
most part I would give it a 3.5 to 4 star depending on your server. They don't take
reservations or even take your names down anymore, so it is first come, first serve and
when that falls on a weekend, it's somewhat disorganized. That would be something
they need to change as the last 2 times we have been on a weekend it has been pretty
crazy and people trying to "butt in". All in all, good food, great value and fun atmosphere
but be willing to wait especially during the busy times.
“You Must Go Inside” (Rated: 5 Star)
Reviewed 27 October 2014
This spot isn't for everyone and I think that's the point. Now I must admit I was skeptical
and yet I couldn't resist. You shouldn't either, especially if you don't mind there are no
table cloths, candle lit tables or posh décor. If you want to see why the crowd's inside, go
check out this energetic, fun place to eat. The staff are friendly, the drink menu was
plentiful and every item on the menu is $4.95. Yes - $4.95. Although it was Sunday night
in shoulder season for Whistler, they were busy with families to the most mature crowd.
Loved the menu selections from bar fare to burgers to a few Asian flare dishes. If you're
in the Village, go check them out.
