With their original shape, the 30 and 80mlbottles from Pochet du Courval have made theconveying on the production lines a realchallenge. Their curves with perfectly mastereddimensions are lacquered in a midnight bluecolour, then silkscreen-printed and hot-stampedin gold.

A « Couture » packaging solution from Groupe Pochet for the latest fragrance fromAlexander McQueen

The intense black stopper, the collar’s extremelyfine majestic feather pattern and the curvybottle, delicately enhanced by an antique goldbase: each component of the luxury bottleshowcasing the latest fragrance from AlexanderMcQueen results from the alliance of GroupePochet know-how.

Zamak has emerged as the ideal material tohighlight the infinite wealth of details on thecollar, produced by Qualipac. The feather bladesand antique gold aspect are the result of a long line of delicate operations, including asyringe-delivered enamel decoration. The finelyengraved cap with tactile effect is injected with

non-visible parting line and completes the collar,made of a gold-coloured electro-plated baseassembled with a signature ring varnished by Solev.

The gently curved shiny deep black bottle ismanufactured by Pochet du Courval. its smoothsurface is highlighted by an elegant silkscreeningdecoration.

This high-level technological challengeundertaken by Groupe Pochet also includes thevarious components assembly, which requires aunique and very specific expertise, taking intoaccount all the dimensional and technicalrequirements of the various materials, to ensuredelivery of the finest creations for the Group’scustomers.

The multi-material spray cap of the 80ml bottledeveloped by Qualipac results from a complex,high-speed three piece-assembly process and isperfectly fitting the bottle’s shoulders. Specifictests have been performed to ensure it functionsproperly. The gluing of the heel, supplied by oneof our partners, gives the final touch to thisiconic packaging solution, whose technicalchallenge resides not only in the conception andexecution of the different components, but alsoin their optimal adjustment.

DIESEL BAD

A touch of rock’n roll for the latest fragrance ofthe Diesel saga

The leather texture of the Pochet du Courvalbottle invites us to discover it through the senseof touch, thanks to the fine engraving anddetails on the glass surface, resulting from aspecific and innovative process of mouldtreatment.

The mat black metallization finish from Solevreinforces the visual illusion of leather. Theultra-precise laser cutting contributes tomagnifying the name and lighting up the wholebottle.

karine Lahannier, a Group employee, but also a talentuous artist, has imagined a series of paintingsbased on the raw material we are using. This series, named “Metamorphosis”, suggests an artisticinterpretation of our universe and opens a new perspective on our know-how.

Groupe Pochet is proud to share her artworks during the not-to-be-missed Puzzle Party, on September22nd, in la Mer room at Hôtel Fairmont, and to support the artistic initiatives of its employees, whichillustrate both the passion of our work irrigating its culture and the close bounding between our industry and creation.

About the artistKarIne LahannIer«A feeling of vastness, allowing the spirit to travel»karine Lahannier invites us to discover the whole universe of colors shealways had in her mind. Studying calligraphy, and working ontranslating the art of drawing lines on the canvas, the artist hasdeveloped a culture of movement and masters the fusion of shades,playing with their intensity and brightness. Other founding referencesfor karine are the Artworks of Turner, Soulages, Rothko or the Chineseartist ZaoWou-ki. Upon Groupe Pochet’s invitation, karine Lahannierhas accepted to create a specific series of paintings inspired by ourindustry and our materials. Glass powder or sand creating texture effectand pure pigments are harmoniously combined with intense colors likesoothing blue, amber, or energizing red. Depending on the variationsof light, her compositions offer constantly changing shades. karine has chosen to sign herpaintings on the back, so as to preserve the harmony of lines and colors, letting the viewers’ mindtravel beyond the limits of the frame. karine has been working as a Sales Manager for the GroupePochet for more than 8 years. She is now an established artist, and has exhibited at the Grandshow of Contemporary Art in Bastille, in 2012. She regularly presents her artworks in her ownstudio, in Paris.
