Planning a Getaway? Take a road trip

here are many advantages to road trips according to Best School of Motoring.

One obvious advantage of using your car is the chance to explore places up close. Aside from that, you can make as many stopovers as you want. This is a great way to see those out-of-the-way attractions. Road trips can provide more flexibility than air travel. You can depart on your own schedule and drive at your own speed, avoiding possible flight delays or cancellations and airport hassle that often intrude on vacation plans. With these advantages, a road trip is clearly a good idea. Of course, when you do go on a road trip, be sure to have the vehicle inspected properly before embarking on the trip. More importantly, be sure to practice safe and defensive driving, observing the basic rules of the road. Then, too, be sure to pack appropriate clothing and provisions. With enough attention to detail, your road trip can be an exciting adventure!

hildren grow up so quickly, and their likes and dislikes change too often to be able to

accommodate all their requests for change and new things. It’s neither financially viable in most cases, nor really necessary as they will be asking for more in a few weeks’ time. Changing their bedroom just might satisfy their desire for something new. If you don’t have the time or money to carry out any major work, there are a few affordable and easy ways of changing or updating a bedroom.

New Members: Go Get ‘Em!

f you know a co-worker who would like to be a part of a growing family of

“people helping people,” let them know they can join the credit union by merely opening a savings account with $25 (one share). Interest rates on savings are higher than most financial institutions.

As a selling point, give them the facts: Nearly 93 million people in the U.S. belong to a credit union, according to the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). There are good reasons why: lower fees and service charges; competitive rates on loans and savings accounts; safety and security; the feeling of owning your financial institution. Together, you and your fellow members pool your deposits in order to offer loans and other services to each other. Any “profit” or surplus we make is returned to the members in the form of better rates, loan fees, and the ability to offer additional services. Ready? … GO GET ‘EM!
