What is Pagan Pride Day?OKC Pagan Pride Day is an annual celebration of the autumnal equinox hosted by volunteers within the OKC Metro’s Pagan community. It is a day for Pagans across Oklahoma to come together and celebrate our shared spirituality in a safe space. We invite all those who identify as Pagan, who are seeking a spiritual path or community, or who are just plain curious about Paganism to join us for food, education, and fun!

For the fifth annual event, OKC Pagan Pride Day, Inc. is hosting a food drive to benefit Sisu Youth, Inc. (www,sisuyouth.org). Although entrance to the event and its activities are free to anyone, we do ask that our attendees consider donating non-perishable food items at Sisu’s tent (C1 on the Vendor Map).

The organizers for OKC Pagan Pride Day are from all walks of life. If you are interested in contributing to next year’s event, stop by the Welcome and Hospitality tent for more information!

All Day ActivitiesWelcome, Hospitality, and Wellness Area - Stop by to sign our guestbook or for conversation! We will have an RN on hand for any medical emergencies as well as additional printed information on Pagans, Paganism, and the local Pagan community. Although nursing mothers are welcome to feed their children anywhere at the event, the tent will also provide a discreet area for nursing for those who may want to get out of the sun. We also be selling raffle tickets for a variety of items to begin fundraising for next year’s event!

Red Tent - The Red Moon Lodge will be hosting a women’s circle in the Red Tent space. They invite ALL Women regardless of age or birth gender to stop by and learn more about the Red Tent Movement. Various activities and symbolic rituals will be featured throughout the day.

Children's Tent - This year’s Children’s Tent will have veggie and fruit stamping crafts, coloring, a bean bag toss area with prizes to win, and a journey stick craft. We will also feature temporary tattoos and the opportunity to register for a children’s raffle basket. Children of all ages are encouraged to attend!

A t t he But terf ly LabyrinthGail Peck, author of Oklahoma Labyrinths — a path to inner peace, will facilitate a labyrinth walk on a colorful butterfly design at 3 p.m.

Butterflies represent transformation and joy. Labyrinths mirror the human adventure and help put life in perspective. Both encourage artistic expression. Combining the two allows us to walk a path of creative discovery. The diverse colors of a butterfly accompany the labyrinth offering imagination and opportunity.

An inspirational and informative learning tool that teaches the goal is always visible, labyrinths are pathways to peace and tolerance. They illuminate understanding, promote healing and wellness, enhance joy, beauty and curiosity, reveal elusive answers, reawaken our dreams, discover hidden talent, create excitement and inspire optimism.
