The AVL (Automatic Vehicle Locator) Service lets Spatial Fusion track vehicles in real time.

The AVL Service currently works with Sierra Wireless Modems. The GPS information is received via Trimble ASCII Interface Protocol.



Researchers at UNB Computer Science Department have successfully investigated the use of the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) to make it possible for Internet clients to access, display and save real-time geospatial information of a mobile agent in a working field.



The research utilises Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) along with eXtensible Markup Language (XML) tags.
