IntroductionLeadership requires influencing and
motivating. As leaders we must be motivated ourselves in order to motivate our young people.
Leadership is an opportunity to serve. The growth and development of people is the highest calling of leadership and therefore we must equip ourselves to guide and keep our young people motivated to spread the love of Christ.
IntroductionI have been in leadership for the past 8 years,
both in ministry and vocation.

with Christ is also the engine which drives
our ministry and leadership, then time with
Christ in prayer must be one of our core
ministry activities.”
Remember who you are serving“Don’t just do the minimum that will get you
by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you’ll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you are serving is Christ.” Col. 3:22-24
Remember the difference your ministry is making“All this is for their benefit, so that the grace
that is reaching more and more people may
cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of
God.” 2Cor. 4: 17-18
Remember your Eternal Rewards“ Jesus endured the cross by looking forward
to joy…..“ You must look past your problems to the
reward.” Heb. 12:1 The most powerful motivation is neither

ConclusionLeaders must stay motivated in order to
motivate the youth. We are servant leaders
and must focus on the reason why we do what
we are doing. Young people look to leaders as
role models, mentors, and someone whom
they can trust and build relationships with.
