What is Culture? Few coaches will not be faced with the

challenge of changing culture. It is not the same as structure, it is

deeper-seated patterns, unique to the organisation:- of assumptions, beliefs, attitudes, habit and customs.

Family as an analogy Although some genes are passed down,

each generation is different. Family likeness may persist, but beliefs

& attitudes, even between two generations may change.

There may be some continuities, but it also changes organically.

The concept of values is a useful way of expressing a culture.
