Over 250 tests may be conducted with the Smart Lab instruments to European (EN), American (ASTM)and Japanese (JIS) standards, as well as many others.The software incorporates parameters such as line speed, power consumption, resin addition ratesand production factors for the on-line process.The platform for launching the “smart” concept into the wood-based panels industry may beconstructed through an integrated data collection, as well as being able to measure the degree ofsustainability of the production process.

The IMAL Smart Lab is apackage of equipment whichmay be tailored to suit thecustomer’s requirements, a setof testing instruments whichcombine and communicate witheach other by means of adedicated management software.
