How to register your mobile to your wit email

Step 1 – Log into your WIT student email account using your student number@mail.wit.ie as your email username e.g. 1234567@mail.wit.ie . Click on Next and enter your password.

Click on Sign In to finish the login process.

Accept the agreement if this is the first time you are using your student email account. After accepting the licence agreement, you may be presented with a splash screen with various options. If so, click on Mail to enter

your email account.

Step 2 - In the right hand corner, click on your email address and then choose My Account from the dropdown menu. A new webpage will open. Click on the new webpage.

Step 3 - Click on Sign-in & Security.

Step 4 - Scroll down the page and click on Add a recovery phone number to help secure your account.

Step 5 - Re-enter your email password as prompted.

Step 6 - Enter your mobile phone number and click Verify.

Step 7 - The screen below is displayed. Click Get Code

Step 8 - You will receive a code via SMS. Enter the code and click Verify.

Step 9 - Click Continue. You have now successfully added a recovery phone number. To go back to your WIT student email

account, click on the square box in the top right hand corner of the screen and click Mail.
