CHILD LINE

Child line is a free private and confidential service were if you are being bullied you can call and talk about it on the phone and get solutions to your problems. Child line helps anyone under 19 in the UK, whether its something big or small. 6 facts • we were started in 1986 by Esther Rantzen• we help any young person in the UK• you can talk to us in English or Welsh• we can help with anything – from abuse and bullying to exam stress and relationships• calling Child line is free and doesn’t show up on the phone bill• in 2006 we joined the NSPCC to help even more young people.The Counsellors are trained staff and volunteers. They could be 16 or 60. They could be gay or straight –  or anywhere in between. What they all have in common is they want to help young people. A Child line counsellor:• will listen to you • knows it takes courage to contact us• is genuine, open and friendly• knows about the problems young people can face• won't judge you or put you down• isn’t easily shocked• will let you take your time.

ANALYSIS I researched about child line because we are trying to spread awareness about bullying. When you people are being bullied they can turn to child line for support that’s why I decide to research about them. This research will help us use child line in our advert because we now know everything about them. This will impact the views because if someone that is being bullied is watching he/she will know to use child line. I found out how a counsellor will speak to you on the phone this can help if we were to act a scene of someone talking to the counsellor.
