Today there are 56 000 Ethiopian Jews in Israel

o 75-88% were satisfied with their new apartments

o 80-86% were satisfied with their new neighborhoods

o 76-96% viewed the relationships with their non-Ethiopian neighbors as positive

o 97% of the Ethiopian children play with non-Ethiopian children in their community.

AIS community

During our community service project we tried to research a basic knowledge about the Ethiopian community.

After we tried to understand their culture, we painted hangings on the tree we gave them, as a welcome gift.

Next day we spent the whole time refurbish their back yards and paint their building

This experience is unforgettable for most of us.
