2”x16” hardwood board

2”x6” hardwood board template

Guitar hardwareWood glue Wood for the fret board

First set of steps

The body

Take the body board and trace the template on it.

Use the band saw and cut the board around where you traced.

Use the belt sander around the edges to sand off any cut marks.

Trace the holes from the template on the front and back of the guitar.

Use the router and cut the holes in the top and bottom of the guitar.

Second set of steps

The neck

Trace the guitar neck on the neck board.

Cut it out with the band saw.

Use the chisel set to round the back of the neck.

Drill the holes for the tuning pegs.

Third set of steps

The fret board

Trace the template of the fret board on the wood for the fret board.

Cut it out with the band saw.

Clamp the fret board to the neck and wait until dried.

Use the fretting tools to cut the slots for the frets. Then install the frets.

Forth set of steps

Full Assembly

Screw the neck into the body.

Install all the body hardware and neck hardware.
