Food waste recycling

• If it grows and you can eat it, we can recycle it.• Reduce your food waste to save money and win a prize!• In the UK, £12 billion of food and drink is thrown away every

year. By reducing food waste, a two-person household could save £480 a year while a family of four could save as much as £680. The West London Waste Authority is asking residents to pledge to reduce their food waste. This can be as simple as planning your meals for the week ahead. Make a pledge to do this and you’ll be entered into a draw for a chance to win prizes including restaurant vouchers, recipe books and cookery lessons.

• Visit Love Food Pledge for details.
