LOGO IN THE PAST
Founding The Association
Thailand World Music Championships Association was formed in 2005 by a group of marching bands in Thailand called, at that time, Thai Marching Band. Since then, Thai Marching Band had organized many Marching band activities such as organizing workshop camps, created a Thai Marching Band website, enlightening the youths about marching band and helping marching bands in Thailand. The association had an important role in supporting many marching bands throughout Thailand such as finding sponsors, finding donated musical instruments for many remote schools, inviting professional instructors to train the youths and so on.
The association eventually came up with an idea about organizing the marching band international competition since they wanted to have an international competition in Thailand for Thai marching bands who can’t afford to go aboard.
In 2010, the first Thailand International Marching Band Competition had been held and continued doing so until 2013. In 2014, the association had decided to change the competition’s name to Thailand World Music Championships (TWMC). Moreover, the official Thailand World Music Championships Association had been formed to be in charge and organized the competition.
In 2016, TWMC has become a member of Asian Marching Band Confederation (AMBC) and has formed 4 regional offices throughout Thailand which are the Northeast, the North and the South, the East of Thailand for more effective result.

History of Thailand World Music Championships
Thailand International Marching Band Competition (TIMBC) was first held in 2010. It is the first international competition in Thailand. The participants were from Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Thailand. The competition was held at the National Stadium in Bangkok. Moreover, Street Parade and Drumline Battle categories were first included in this competition.
The new logo was published in 2013. In that year, the world first Brassline Battle category was added to the competition. The Brassline Battle is becoming more popular in other countries nowadays. In 2014, the association was officially founded under the name “Thailand World Music Championships Association”.
In 2017, His Majesty the King of Thailand has granted his royal trophy together with Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak and H.R.H. Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti of Thailand for the 2017 TWMC champions. Moreover, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has granted her royal trophy for the Asia Marching Arts (AMA) Thailand Championships.

30 April 2018 TWMC Association has choose the Suankularb WittayalaiNonthaburi Marching Band to be the Thailand represent to join in Shanghai Spring Music Festival at Shanghai China and receipt the Gold Honor Awards.
