Global chicken consumption level is rapidly moving to the top every year. According to the forecasts of poultry industry development, chicken will replace pork already in 2020. Significant increase of poultry production capacity is impossible without innovative technologies. Following the global trends and looking to the future, in 2004 TEXHA started to design and manufacture equipment for broiler operation which will allow poultry farms to increase significantly broiler meat production, using existing production facilities.

Benefits of innovative technologies:

- Programmable parameters for unloading broilers for slaughter (a technician shall set the number of birds per hour, depending on the logistics and capacity of the slaughterhouse, and the computer calculates the unloading rate)

- Reducing injuries of birds (1.5-2 times less injuries to the wings and legs)

- Reducing stress of the birds (unloading occurs in full darkness and without human contact)

- The number of staff is minimized.

- Production volumes increase 3 times compared to floor technology.

- Over 15% increase in capacity of the bird house compared to the old cage technologies (the distance between the batteries is minimized due to the latest technology for unloading birds, thus increasing the number of batteries in the bird house).

22Equipment for laying hensThe history of the company began with the development and production of equipment for laying hens.During 14 years, the company managed to deliver equipment for poultry farms in countries with different climates (from the Far North to the tropics), with different technologies of poultry operation, crosses. The equipment is currently delivered in 15 countries.

In 2004, TEXHA developed and launched the cage equipment for operation of herd replacements and broilers JUNIOR. Due to the applied research, the equipment was constantly upgraded, and, to date, TEXHA offers 6 types of cage equipment JUNIOR. Depending on the poultry farm conditions, it is possible to install the battery with 2 to 6 tiers.

When manufacturing the cage equipment, we take into account all the requirements for poultry management: safety, ease of maintenance, and durability. All equipment by TEXHA provides the best possible conditions for operation of healthy and highly productive young stock.

The equipment is currently delivered in 16 countries.6 types of equipment depending on the purpose - Operation of young stock in cages by TEXHA takes place in a comfortable environment.

- Sidewalls of cages are made of mesh, allowing air to circulate freely.

- Feeding system regulates the flow of feeds, limiting them in such a way as to maintain the weight of the young stock and cause no stress at the same time.

- Floor mesh size allows for safe operation of chickens without using extra bedding during the first days of their growth.

- Special adjusting plate is installed depending on the age of the chickens from the first day until the end of the cycle, thus preventing the ingress of chickens in feeding system.

Creating favourable conditions for poultry is a rule that ТЕХНА always respects at creation of their equipment.Overall dimensions of cages, presence of darkened "nests" with shutters create the conditions to achieve high results on the reproduction of any cross of birds in the form of the maximum yield of hatching eggs in accordance with standards. This is one of the principal goals, which was solved in the development of cage equipment. Separation of zones for feeding of laying hens and roosters allows the bird to realize its genetic potential.

Advantages of the equipment:

- Presence in the cage of a darkened nest with a shutter having a positive effect on the emotional state of the poultry and improving its egg production.

- Separation of zones for feeding hens and roosters. In the area for feeding hens, the cage door has horizontal bars, and due to these height restrictions it does not allow the rooster to push his head to the feed trough. Feeding of roosters is made using a door with vertical bars.

- Protective shield of galvanized steel protects eggs from being ate.

- 5 nipple bird baths in the cage with drip pockets allow the bird to get the required amount of water. And since the bird bath system is only on the one side of the battery, it offers free access to feed.

- Use of continuous galvanized perforated transverse partitions improves hygiene and provides sufficient amount of fresh air.

- Minimal use of plastic elements improves hygiene and allows hot high-pressure washing

TEXHA mastered batch production of floor equipment for operation of broilers. In the proposed feeding system, the latest developments and achievements in the field of floor poultry operation are taken into account.

KoChiBo feeder meets all the requirements of modern systems for broiler operation using floor or cage technologies. Feeder has such unique properties as: versatility, durability, strength; it is environmentally friendly and cost-effective.

KoChiBo made from environmentally friendly plastic with impact-resistant properties and flexibility. The applied material can increase the life of the equipment due to the ability to withstand considerable mechanical loads.

Regulating system Decrease of losses

KoChiBo feeder is height adjustable. While chicken growth the depth of the feeder increases by lowering its bottom. This allows flow of bigger feed quantity to a bird and reduces feed losses that occur due toits spreading by a bird. Variable bottom height system used in this feeder contributes to the rapid growth of birds by providing access to feed for chickens from the firstdays of their life.

Bottom of the feeder is designed in such a way that the feed is distributed over the entire area, and the absence of deep zones prevents its long sticking. Curved inside edges of the feeder contribute to savingfeeds. Special

blades in the inner cylinder of the feeder prevent spreadingoffeed by a bird.

TEXHA offers 4 different types of feeders to install both at floor housing, and at the cell.
