Doublet FlowThe doublet occurs when a source and a sink of the same strength are collocated the same location, say at the origin.
Vortex FlowA vortex is a region in a fluid in which the flow is rotating around an axis line, which may be straight or curved.
Uniform flowThe flow is defined as uniform flow in the when in the flow field the velocity and other hydrodynamic parameters do no change from point to point at any instant of time.
Source and sinkA radially symmetrical flow field directed outwards from a common point is called a source flow .As the fluid outward , the area of flow increase.Sink flow is the opposite of source flow. The streamlines are radial, directed inwards to the line source. As we get closer to the sink, area of flow decreases.
