BenefitsBenefits Accelerated Construction Process

Fast delivery. • Modular buildings can be constructed in up to half the time as buildings built

completely onsite.

• Buildings can be occupied sooner and owners will see a faster return on investment.

Quality Built • Built with all the same materials and to the same building codes and architectural

specifications as onsite construction.

• Able to withstand travel and installation requirements, creating a building that can be more durable than structures built onsite.

Sustainable

Less Material Waste Less Site Disturbance

Greater Flexibility and Reuse Improved Air Quality

Approach to the Design of Approach to the Design of Sustainable BuildingsSustainable Buildings

The environmental impact of a building is becoming an increasingly

important consideration.

Choice of materials used, construction, occupation and what happens at the end of the building’s life are all factors for sustainable buildings.

Off-site construction is an environmentally friendly way to build, with

advantages over traditional construction in terms of performance, and both economic and social benefits throughout the life of a building.

Building Construction  Due to the tight tolerances required in factory production, the

performance of a finished modular building can be more energy efficient and have lower running costs than a traditionally constructed building.

Page 19: PRESENTATION - Modular Direct

Building Occupation

Factory production ensures that sustainable buildings are constructed to very tight tolerances which means that the building is significantly more energy efficient than traditionally built buildings with lower running costs and less carbon emissions.

  End of Life

There are a number of options for the future of a modular building.  The building can be re-fitted and used as a new facility, without the full cost usually experienced.  Our modular buildings can be removed off site and refitted which would leave the site clear for an alternative use, protecting site value, and re-using the entire building, providing an environmentally friendly, genuinely sustainable building.  Any elements of the sustainable building can be recycled.
