The new HCS (Healthcare Series) Online from Thomson MICROMEDEX - Phase I: Summary of Features and Schedule

HCS Phase I is scheduled for launch in the Spring of 2004. A phased rollout for customers will be implemented and communicated to all current Healthcare Series Online customers.

HCS Phase I will incorporate all features/functionality of the current HCS Online, plus several important enhancements:

A new CLF (Common Look & Feel) interface, compliant with the common look and feel of other Thomson Healthcare products.

Compare Drug Summaries: Presentation of DrugPoints® content for two or more selected drugs in a side-by-side tabular format.

A Therapeutic Classes list feature that allows users to navigate up and down the drug class tree (content from Redbook™ file, organized by the MICROMEDEX class structure). This feature is designed to help users find drugs in a given therapeutic class or find drugs in a different class. Users will have the ability to select several drugs from the list and view them in the Compare Drug Summaries feature, or to view the drug summary/point for a single drug.
