History

“I was inspired to create SafeSip after a spilt drink at a family meal. My young son knocked a glass all over my husband’s trousers in a restaurant as he wanted to use a “grown up’s” glass. I went home that night a created my first prototype.

Shortly after this my father had a heart attack and was struggling to sit up to drink while in hospital, and with a close relative recently diagnosed with muscular dystrophy I realised my idea could help in all these areas.

Now that I had found a need for SafeSip, I set about with the aim to create a product that could stop kids spilling their drinks and allowing those with healthcare and mobility needs to drink independently and with dignity.”
