    of coloured pencils
  4. 4. Her Year 12 major art work
    was a large scale coloured pencil drawing
  5. 5. After school the pencils were put away
    Art was no more
  6. 6. Years later











    Melissa began to draw again
  7. 7. Creating abstract art using coloured pencils
  8. 8.
    • From her earlier works, she developed her own style with coloured pencils
    • 9. Her drawings are instinctive and she keeps layering and colouring until they sing
    • 10. Every drawing takes hours upon hours
    • 11. The drawings are a way for Melissa to express her words of emotions and thoughts into images
    • 12. To Melissa, black and white is important as she says black and white dont lie
